I would eat a Barry's Special everyday! More often than not I call and order to go. I am not a deep dish fan so I don't get that. But their pizza is the best in the city. Pizza can be a very personal thing to people. Everyone has their favorite styles and places. Barry's has frsh ingredients, lots of choices and crust that isn't too soggy or too crusty. But what I really like is the Barry's house salad. Man, that dressing is terrific!

The pizza is just average. It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. The atmosphere was terrible; hardly anyone was there at 5:00 on a Saturday, and unless you like Video Poker, besides the food, its very boring there.
Pros: Average pizza, average service
Cons: No people at 5:00 on Saturday, bad price

The chain pizza places are horrible compared to Barry's. Great pizza, friendly service, and a decent selections of desserts. The deep dish is the best in town, hands down.

this is great pizza, and the servers are usually very friendly. they also have a couple great desserts. I would particularly recommend the deep dish, and I'm not usually a deep dish fan in other pizza places, but it's incredible here.
Pros: pizza, dessert, service
Cons: I would prefer a lighter, brighter atmosphere

I never had pizza outside of the typical chains like pizza hut, dominos, papa johns, etc. but when I went to Barry's I was BLOWN AWAY about how good the pizza was. OMG everyone should try this place, I don't even eat the other pizzas anymore, only barry's pizza. Its like everything is fresh and you can taste all the spices and ingredients!

You know sometimes you should go with your first thoughts. Well we did not. Berrys was our second. First it looked like it was going to be ok. But when the Pitcure fo beer came it was only half full. They told us the keg was taped and that we had to wate until the new one was in. The mugs were cold and the beer was warm. When they brought the other half it was all suds. As for the Pizza the curust was hard and the toppings were cold. Dont think we will be going back.
Pros: Cold Mugs
Cons: COLD FOOD, WARM BEER

I love this place. The pizza is soooo good! I love deep dish crust and there's is the best I have had. It has just the right ratio of cheese, sauce, and toppings. I reccommend that everyone eat here at least once before they die, so they can experience what real deep dish pizza tastes like.

Being from the Midwest we can appreciate a good deep dish pizza. It took us a long time to find Barry's after suffering with the Texas version of Pizza. Once we did, we can't eat any others. We've dined here at least 30 times and not once have we ever been disappointed.
