This is the best....all flavors are wonderful. the atmosphere is great and the people are friendly...
Pros: Ambience, parking, service
Cons: a little drive for me....wish they were closer.

Sorry, I have to disagree with the reviews on Ritters. I grew up in the north and with all the custard shops you could imagine on every street corner. Ritters is not a true custard. True custard does not come in all those flavors!!! Only Vanilla and Chocolate. I have tried Ritters several times and find that it leaves a film on my tongue and a bad after taste. Guess you all need to find a place that serves true custard and compair.

Best ice cream around. I love going to Ritters! When they close for the Winter, I always long for them to reopen....I count the days.

I was recently introduced to Ritter's by a friend, and WOW, am I glad...the icecream there is fantastic! I highly recommend the 'glacier' Ritter's answer to the DQ Bilzzard. The plain vanilla is fantastic, but try all flavors, you'll want to!

The best icecream dishes I have ever eaten. I could practically live on Ritter's icecream. When they first opened I thought they would last due to weather issues because of the outside only tables. When I tasted the icecream, I knew I was wrong! They are the best.

Fantastic ice cream...the best banana split in Houston....can't wait for an additional location on the south side of town. At this point I will keep driving for the best ice cream!!

This is definitely my fav ice cream place in Houston altho it's considered to be a custard and gelato normally are my favorites, but this place surprises me especially when considering that they don't even sell gelatos. Their ice cream is very superior in quality altho it's a bit disappointing that it's so far out in Katy and away from Houston and it's also disappointing that they close during the winter! :-( I hope there'll be another one IN Houston soon!

This is the absolute best ice cream joint I have been to. The ice cream is made fresh every day: vanilla, chocolate, and 3 daily flavors. The left overs are frozen for a later date to sell (so most of the flavors you want will be avaliable. They have a wide variety of sundae's and special treats etc. Great place to take family and friends!
Pros: rich ice cream, freshly made, value
Cons: only one location
