One of My Favorite Places
by love2482 at Citysearch
This is one of the best little neighboorhood restaurants in Houston. This chicken minelli is one of the best alfredo dishes I have ever eaten. Also try the tuscano sauce. One of the best aspects is that they will put whatever you want into your pasta dish on whatever type of pasta you prefer. Many of the servers are young though and do not have much experience waiting tables.
- Pros: Good food
- Cons: Service can be bad
Best Italian Food in Houston
by Kerbie at Citysearch
This is one of Houston's little known treasures. The food is amazing, I have never been disappointed. Unlimited bread that is so good. The chicken minelli is my favorite thing to eat. I have even tried to perfect it at home since i have moved to Austin. The pizza is wonderful as well, fresh ingredients and large portions for the price. The "to die for" dessert is summed up in the name. Make sure you leave room or order it to go. You will not be disappointed.
I would really disagree with previous reviews about the cleanliness and service. We love the atmosphere, it is small and romantic, with fresh flowers and candles on each table. Service has always been top notch. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for any occasion.
Most entrees are under $15, averaging around $10.
- Pros: Chicken Minelli
- Cons: Only one location

I eat here all of the time because it is right by my office. The food is GREAT.The place is dirty though.Weird dirt/mold on the plants and one creepy crack-head looking waiter.....
I suggest you get your food to go.
- Pros: The food!!!
- Cons: Dirty,Dirty,Dirty
