best burgers in houston
by txwildswan at Citysearch
I was only about 4 years old when my father first took me here. They had just opened the Loews Drive In Movie Theater and we used o go to Broiler Burger and now that my Dad has been gone since 1987 I had to go back after 20 something years because I could still remember that Broiler Burger taste. It is still excellent!!! I hope they never close!!! Good memories and great food!!!
is this a joke?

I could not beleive my eyes, the place is so old I'm amazed it's still standing. the vinyl is ripped off the benches and the wallpaper is falling apart. Dark dining area, cheap plastic flowers on tables. Please someone do something about the seating. the burgers are good, but they compare to any other fast food, frozen ready made and greasy. the onion rings are a poor excuse for a side dish they are the frozen kind that comes in a bag. Can't possibly go there again, specially with the Roadster Grill next door where they make hand formed burgers and hand breaded onion rings. good luck to you bellaire broiler
- Pros: none, dirty, dark
- Cons: old, falling apart, greasy, smokey
Great after all these years.

The best thing about Bellaire Broiler Burger,is that it is still the best burger in Houston just like it was 20 years ago. You have to try this place.
Burgers like they should be
by froggy94 at Citysearch
The burgers here are as they should be, hot & juicy, and piled high with all the fixin's you ask for. The Bellaire special is just about the best hungry-man's burger ever built, and the fries are great too. This is a wonderful, family run place, great atmosphere for kids, and everyone smiles and helps when you need it. It is one of the last "greasy spoons" left in Houston.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Service, Friendly
- Cons: Hard to find, Greasy interior
awesome burgers

The food was great and inexpensive. THe wait after you order your food is a little excessive.
- Pros: great food, good value
- Cons: slow service

Having traveled around the world in search of the best Chili-Cheese Burger, I award Bellaire Broiler Burger "World Class Status".

Good classic 1950's style hamburgers that blow away anything the chains have to offer.

Got To Try Them Fries
by billcooper at Citysearch
There's no other Burger in Houston or Bellaire or any other Flinstone suburb around Houston that offers a Burger with this taste. There are other broiler burgers around. Oh yes indeed. Forget it. They can't duplicate the Bellaire Broiler Burger. And the Fries. Pass the Ketchup. I love this place. Can I order now Please.....

VERY good food. Excellant service. Place is small.
No blarring music/television which is a plus. Sometimes smokey due to grill.
- Pros: cooked fresh, fast service
- Cons: limited parking, need more seats
