Never Again

What a horrible experience. The first time i went for a microdermabrasion and during the procedure the machine broke down. I had to wait in the room for about 20minutes until the staff "attempted" to fix it. It couldn't be fixed so to make me feel better the lady gave me a facial. Giving them the benefit of doubt, i returned again a few months later, again for a microdermabrasion, and the lady offered me a "glycolic peel" before the microdermabrasion (which i found out later is never to be done prior to a microdermabrasion) saying it was only a small additional cost & my skin would be radiant. After the peel, she performed the microdermabrasion, my face was red and upon returning home and after a few hours i could see marks on my face where the derabrasion wand had been applied to my face. The next day, the marks were dark brown, all over my face, my skin clearly burned. Not even makeup would cover it completely. It was a complete waste of time & money! PLEASE be warned & get your soft, precious skin treated from professionals.....somewhere else!

Mediocre

I decided to pamper myself for my 45th birthday. The spa atmosphere is o.k., but not extravagant, somewhat institutional. I started with a "deep tissue" massage which never got past the top layer. I even asked if I was signed up for the deep tissue and was assured I had. Very disappointing. I left that room feeling jipped. The off for my salt scrub and facial. The salt scrub was nice, but the facilities again were lacking. Instead of the beds that you get your exfoliation and are rinsed there, here you get your exfoliation and then have to put your robe on to go to the bathroom where there is a shower, and the shower isn't even that wonderful. Then back for my facial. This was the highlight. Very nice and relaxing facial. It was a good way to end a very disappointing and expensive day. Next time, I think I'll look to drive a bit further for better choices.

• Cons: Facility is drab, institutional. Massage was poor.

best day spa around

I have gone to Serenety Day Spa for a long time and I have never been disappointed. I have seen everyone there and their all great. The last time I went this week I had a facial with Gabby and a massage with Marta. I recommend them both highly. I saw there were no coments about Gabby so I wanted everyone to know how great of a job she does and you would not be disappointed. Marta I have seen many times and is alway great. I also here they are moving to a great new location and I cant wait.

Amy is the best!

I went on citysearch to find someone to do a great Brazilian and Eyebrow wax. I saw all the reviews about Amy. She is great! Very nice to work with! She gave me a great Brazilian and Eyebrow wax! She did a great job! I'm hooked! I would highly recommend her. I won't go anywhere else!

The most relaxed I've ever been

I've tried different spas around the Spring and Houston area but when I found Serenity I stopped my search. I've been going to Ashley for a few months now and she is a fantastic esthetician. Her skin is beautiful and she's helped transform my skin. I've tried different products but Ashley helped me discover the products that work best with my skin. Now my skin is just as soft and clear as hers. Recently, Serenity has hired a new massage therapist named Martha. I tried her out hoping she's as wonderful with her hands as Marci is and she did not let me down. Martha relieved my back pain with her magical hands and my only regret is that I can't move into this establishment. I've had the privilege of meeting everyone there and they've all been so sweet and welcoming. If you haven't visited these wonderful ladies you're missing out!

Best day ever

I got gift cert. for my birthday and I will never ask for anything else again. I had a facial with Ashley and it was so relaxing and I now have product for my face that I really see a difference in color and fine lines. I also had a massage with Marcie and OH MY Gosh!!!! I was so relaxed that I almost couldnt leave. This was the best day ever. The service was the best but the spa its self is all new,clean, and very relaxing with running water, comffy couch, snacks and beverages. You will love every minute.

Facial by Ashley / Massage by Denise

I too was a gift certificate recipient - WONDERFUL! Ashley is fairly new but is WONDERFUL and will quickly build up her clientele so HURRY IN! Facial was great - relaxing and BOY DO I LOOK GOOD ;-).

Massage by Denise -- after reading all of the reviews I have to say I was a bit disappointed. Denise is fast -- she moves quickly but does give you your money's worth. If you prefer slow - methodical massages Denise is not for you.

To foster a sense of privacy and coziness, service areas in this former residence lie tucked behind French doors. Antiques furnish each room. Product display is kept to a minimum, so clients aren't inundated with retail objects the moment they walk in.

The Services
The clientele is highly loyal and come as much for the gentle, personal attention as the spa services. Serenity takes special pride in its massages, with superbly trained therapists who customize treatments for each client's specific aching parts and tolerance for pummeling. The Serenity Signature massage combines traditional long-stroke massage, kneading techniques and Swedish massage to increase circulation, improve skin and muscle tone and soothe tired muscles.

Incredible Service

Due to one bad facial experience, I was a skeptic of having another but that was before I met Amy Nolan. During a brow wax, Amy politely convinced me to schedule a facial appointment with her and to my surprise and delight she did not let me down. Amy's magical touch keeps bringing me back for more. Before meeting Amy, I would have never imagined having facials every week but I'm now hooked. I trust Amy completely with my skin. Her product knowledge is exceptional and with her guidance I am now using new products which have made a tremendous impact on how my skin looks and feels. Thanks to Amy I have that youthful glow I've always dreamt about. If you give Amy a chance, I promise she will not let you down and you will keep going back for more.

I just want to let everyone know how helpful and knowledgeable the staff is at Serenity Day Spa. I really want you to know if you are trying to find help to improve your skin please book a time with Amy (an aesthetician). Her facials are very relaxing and have improved my face in short period of time! She also is very good at eyebrow waxing!
