- Cons: If anything, the club house could use a remodel
Challenging course for a great price
by jigsmigs
I played Tour 18 over the weekend. I had no idea how nice the course was until I played. Spectular maintenance, landscaping spot on, mimicked the holes nicely, professional staff and the best 18 holes I have played over the last 4 years. I was amazed how similar the holes where to the ones they were carbon copying. The weather was a little nasty but nonetheless great. The price for what you are paying to play on is a great deal. I have played courses within Houston for more and did not enjoy them as much as I enjoying Tour 18.
And the funniest thing about the entire experience is Leroy the Squirrel on the 12 hole. Hilarious and the poor beer cart girl. Enough said.
All in all if you have the time and funds to play here , DO IT. You will not be sorry.
I will be back and with more newbies so they can enjoy as much as I did.

A course that reproduces the 18 most famous holes in golf.
by Contributor
The Course
The 18-hole, 6,782-yard course located north of Houston gives players the chance to play legendary holes like the pros. Playing a round at Tour 18 gives you the opportunity to test your game on exact reproductions of 18 of the most famous holes in golf. Surprisingly, green fees are reasonable, ranging from $39 to $95 based on time, day and season.
The Experience
Fulfill your golfing daydreams of teeing-off at Augusta National's infamous "Amen Corner," or planning your approach shot on the simulation of Habour Town # 18. Opened in 1992, meticulous detail has gone into re-creating every subtle undulation, elevation change and dogleg on holes that have become almost as famous as the golfers who have challenged them. Though it's probably not the most challenging course, it's one that true golf lovers need to play at least once.

I've played this course several times, and each time I am amazed at how well it is maintained. The tee boxes are always in great shape, the greens are immaculate, and the fairways are excellent. While I have yet to break 100 on this course, I plan to try at least one a year until I do.
- Pros: Mimics Famous Holes, Intriguing Design, Exceptional Upkeep
- Cons: Pricey, Hard to locate
