Wonderful Cut & Style

Want an easy to care for and fantastic cut...go to NUFO. He knows how to make the style fit your hair type and you. I haven't had haircuts this good in many, many years, not even at way higher prices! This is the second version and both were so easy to care and looked great. Made me a frequent visitor rather than doing it myself or just letting it grow!

Love this place

I love Diana B. She is amazing... It doesn't matter how my hair looks before as soon as I go in there and she gets done with me I could be runway ready. Its amazing. She always makes me look and feel great. Dolores colors my hair and she is bad to the bone. :) I have the best stylist and colorist ever. I highly recommend them both.

Not Good for Ethnic Hair

Hmm... I'm still on the fence with Visible Changes. I see all these gloryfying reviews on Yelp and City Search...but I still don't see the allure. So, my hair is naturally kinky/wavy. I relax my hair and it straightens out very well (moves and flows like caucasion folks hair). So, it doesn't take much to think outside the box and come up with new and great haircuts. But I have yet to get one from Visible Changes. My first experience there was outright horrible, so they let me in to get it re-done by someone else. The redo was "ok" but not fabulous. I went two more times, and same deal--mediocre. I'm going again later on today and will be seen by yet another stylist. I plan to bring a picture of a past haircut I've gotten from a totally different stylist in another salon and some pictures from magazines. Hopefully with a little coaching, they can give me the haircut I want. I may even write a follow up review (hopefully with more stars) if things go well. Wish me luck...

UPDATE:

So, I went that day to get my haircut and after I left, it looked "ok." But the maintenence is atrocious... I told the stylist not to cut my hair too short. But alas, she did anyway. Furthermore...the process of blow drying/styling at this place is still below par for ethnic hair. You aren't supposed to just blow air willy nilly till the hair is dry. For all those of you who don't know what I'm talking about--our hair goes poof! I think they rely too much on the flat iron to make hair straight. That said, the style doesn't last which means they don't know how to "train" the hair. I should note that I think they do good work with straight, european-type hair. But if you have naps, kinks, or even a relaxer, I'd recommend you go someplace else.

Keratin Complex Treatment

My Mom has been going to Visible Changes @ Deerbrook Mall for over 2 years. She gets her hair cut by Jessica Garcia. Since Mom was so happy with Jessica, I decided to try her too. Jessica is sooooo good! She has cut my hair for almost a year and I have always been really pleased with her work. I have very thick, wavy, frizzy hair. I have to work really hard to get my hair straight & I hate all the time it takes to do so. Jessica suggested that I get the Keratin Complex Treatment. She explained in detail how it works. I have to say that this is THE BEST thing I have ever done to my hair. I wash my hair and dry it. No brushes used to pull it straight, no flat iron used afterwards, etc. I can go for several days without hardly even brushing or combing my hair. THIS IS THE BEST TREATMENT and I LOVE it! I have Jessica to thank for my easy, fun, and sassy hair. I will certainly be doing this again, and Jessica is who I trust completely with my hair.

• Pros: Hair is straight as a board!
• Cons: NONE with the product except that it is a bit pricey

Minh-1st time

First let me say I love my new hair style and second this was my first time with Minh, and he was I have to say the best! I had a hair style in mind when I went in and he studied it and looked at me and decided it would work but not as short as the picture had it. He takes his time to tell you why and explain how to get the same results at home after you leave the salon, because everyone knows sometimes it can be challenging to look the way you do when you leave there. I am definitely making him my hair stylist and I also had hair color by Bridget who was honest and did an awesome job!

Linda is Awesome

I've been going to Linda for right at 9 years now. She is absolutely fabulous. Not much else to say, I see her once every four months or so and she remembers EVERYTHING about me. She talks to me about things that even I don't remember! And of course, she's always great with my hair! See ya in a few months!!

Keratin Treatment

I just recently had the Keratin treatment done and WOW! It is amazing! I have very frizzy curly hair and after this treatment my hair was soft and not frizzy at all! It only took 10 to 15 minutes to blowdry and style my hair! It is wonderful! My hair has never felt so soft. It is not even as thick as it used to be! Thanks Nufo! Also, shout out to Antonia and Sergio! Antonia has been my hair stylist for about 9 or 10 years and I will not go to anyone else EVER! She cuts it perfect every time! I show a picture and she cuts it just like that picture! She is awesome! Thanks Antonia! Sergio does the most beautiful work with coloring or highlighting hair! He is the best! Thanks Sergio! Love you guys!

Great experience! Love my hairstyle!

After seeing my sister's hair, I just had to get mine done by the same hair stylist who did hers at Deerbrook Mall. Jeannette who not only did miracles with my hair but also gave me lots of advice on how to better take care of my hair. I will definitely come back again! Love my cut and my highlights (done by Veronica) who were also did a great job! I will definitely return again and again!

• Pros: Great Do - Great advice while getting hair done!
• Cons: Far to drive to - but worth it!
