dessert

by kcnannini at Citysearch

The best fudge pie your mouth will ever touch; smooth slices melt in your mouth. This is always a must during the holidays. There are many desserts here that can be given out as great gifts; you will not be dissapointed.

best cake anywhere

by hopheim at Citysearch

All I can say about this place is every dessert is to die for. They have anything and everything sweet you could hope for. We always get a slice of cake but the cookies are really good as well.

I've been doing business with them for years. They are fast, friendly, and best of all the food is great.

A playroom atmosphere perks up this spot for light meals and sumptuous cakes.

by Contributor at Citysearch

In Short
Sherbet-colored walls and paper butterflies on the ceiling create a whimsical atmosphere. The cafe menu features wraps, salads and sandwiches, including chicken salad studded with raisins, pecans and a hint of curry. Request the apple-raisin-pecan bread. Crumbled Fritos add crunch to the Southwest wrap. For dessert, there are cookies, pies, cheesecakes and cakes (whole or by the slice). The opera cake is a tower of sponge cake, espresso-spiked buttercream and fudge-mocha-flavored ganache.

Great environment

by shmbp08 at Citysearch

Every time I go to the Dessert Gallery, I spend twice the time there I intended! The environment is conducive to sitting around with a group of friends and chatting about anything and everything. It is made for hanging out and the cakes, while there is not a large selection, are excellent. The Dessert Gallery provides board games, which are fun at any age to play with a bunch of your friends. Being a Vietnamese person, I was impressed to see they had Vietnamese coffee on the menu. When I tried it, it was a little weaker than I expected but quite good. The decor is fun and whimsical, and I recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have a fun evening with friends or family.

  • Pros: great hangout spot, board games, great cake
  • Cons: hard to pull out of parking

moist cake and amazing icing

by rens1228 at Citysearch

we love this place and stop in at least once a week. real food is good, but the cakes are wonderful. they have a huge selection. there are great complex cakes with multiple flavors and textures, but don't underestimate the simple cakes. my roomate and i are avid bakers and we have yet to find or make better versions of the standard favorites - yellow cake with chocolate frosting, layers of all vanilla, and layers of all chocolate. the cake is moist and flavorful, and the icing is to die for. a great place to hang out no matter how old are young you are.

  • Pros: fun atmosphere, freindly staff, open late on weekends

Unforgettable Birthday

by flounder9 at Citysearch

I have lunch here every now and then and it's like visiting a friends house who makes lunch for you. Everything is so fresh and wonderful. My son's birthday was this weekend and I ordered cookies with his face on them with a Happy Birthday wish. What a huge success! Every mom at the party was so impressed and asked where we got them. What a great idea! I would highly recommend this place!

I bought a German chocolate cake for my boss's b-day it was the best I've ever tasted. This place is really special to get B-day cakes from.

Unimpressed

by pishposh at Citysearch

The desserts were rather pricy, and there was a small selection (consisting mostly of cakes that I felt I could make at home). However, the service is friendly and the enviroinment is nice.

  • Pros: good service
  • Cons: parking, overpriced, desserts are ok
