Loved the enchiladas!!!
by truleighblessed
What is that sauce over the enchiladas?? Too good! My friend took me here for lunch...and I would have never found that place because you've got to turn down this side street. But I'm so glad she did. I ate everything on my plate...which is rare. I'm taking my husband soon. Try it!
- Pros: friendly/attentive staff, easy parking, good food
- Cons: loud, super packed at lunch
Real bad experience
by arantxa16
Claustrophobic place, We wait One Hour to get our food and we did not receive any valid excuse or a attention from the manager and the server had a very bad attitude. They have a sand box with race cars and is set up on very unsafe way. That was our first and last time there, and as a bonus my stomach is very upset thanks to their food. This happened at the original location at Stafford.
- Pros: None
- Cons: All
Fajita's that are known around the world
by cher46
The small "rickety" restaraunt is part of it's charm, and all the kids running around exemplify their commitment to family. Some see this as a draw back, I see it as added charm. The Fajitas are the best we have ever had, and we have tried over and over to see if there was one other place with better.....needless to say we have stopped trying. We have a lot of family and friends who visit us from around the world and Lupe Tortilla's is the only place we will take them for true great TexMex and great Fajitas. So if you looking for a quiet night out in a stuffy restaruant, go to the snooty part of town. Lupe Tortilla is a place for those with a light heart and big appetite.

I don't know whats good about this place, there margaritas taste like everclear , their tortillas arn't even home made, and Im pretty sure most of their food is frozen or pre-made...and dont try the shrimp
Family-friendly and Tex-Mex skilled, this outpost satisfies the craving for home-style fare in a cheerfully painted casa.

In Short
Expect a colorful and inviting atmosphere at this local Tex-Mex chain. From stacked-high chalupas to grilled chicken soft tacos or sizzling beef fajitas, the grub's worth gearing up for. Plates like chicken-stuffed poblano or fajita steak Lupe are cheesy, big deals while calorie counters can pick up tacos al carbon, grande ensalada verde or no-meat tacos. Important details like creamy handmade guacamole, spicy jalapeno nachos and non-oily tortilla chips with smoky tomato salsa are also done right.
Great food

Despite the horrendous Frozen Margarita's they serve (ie. go with On the Rocks), the Food and Service at Lupe's on Stafford is always up to par. Their beef fajitas and chips with bean dip are a consistent crowd pleaser. Just avoid the crowds on Friday and Saturday nights, and you'll be seated in a reasonable wait if not immediately.
- Pros: Consistent quality, Playground for kids
- Cons: , Lousy frozen ritas
My favorite

The service is mediocre and the restaurant is small, rickety and crowded. The food is the best. Best Fajitas, especially the Steak Lupe, and the beans and rice. I eat a lot of Texmex, and the few fajita dishes they make are the best. I don't know about the enchiladas and other stuff, but I doubt I will ever even try them.
Oh, they have a playground for kids.
- Pros: Fajitas , beans/salsa/chips, refried beans & rice
- Cons: service, ambiance, strawbery margarita
BEST IN TEXAS
by fajitaeata
You must try the beef fajitas! They are the best fajitas I have ever had. They also have great margaritas! I have eaten here since we moved to texas (14 years)! The downfalls are the small tables and the kids running all over the place.
- Pros: beef fajitas, beef fajitas, beef fajitas
- Cons: small tables, crowded, kids!
GREAT!!!!
