I LOVE THIS BAR

I love this bar... Yes it is a neighborhood bar, but it is family too.. I have been coming in this bar since it was Barney's before the wonderful Mario took it over 10 years ago... The people all know me and I know them too.. You walk in and they say hello. Ask how the kids are, they becoame your family as well as your friends. Pool tournments on Tuesday nights, dart tournments on Wednesday and Friday nights, Karokee the first Friday of evey month......Its just a great place.

Awesome Place

I have been going to Cat Daddy's for about 4 years now...and it's become like my "Cheers". I know the owner, and he honestly treats you like family... I know all the staff, and they're awesome people. I go there with my friends for a drink, to play games, and just to hang out...and I know that I'll always have a great time. I walk in the door and 5 people greet me automatically and the bartender or waitress knows exactly what I want to order... I honestly could not ask for a better hang-out...and I'm always bringing people there to just chill. I love it and the people.

Cat Daddy's is a great neighborhood bar

I have been hanging out at Cat Daddy's for longer than I can remember. The customers and staff are all very welcoming and many are like family. I've been a regular there for many years and it is pretty rare that I don't have a good time. It is even worth the 20-30 minute drive from where I live.

Great place

I have been going to this bar for seven years, I have always gotten good service there. The crew that work there are like family, very friendly and will do anything for their customers and especially their regulars. Even though I don't go out all the time, I have always called this bar my home because I can walk in and everyone says hello...it has always reminded me of the show cheers, only a little more fun!!

Great Place to Hang Out!

Great pool tables, dart boards, and arcade games! We love to hang out here! It is a very comfortable "cheers" type atmosphere! Pool tournaments, dart tournaments, live bands and karaoke! It's a great, close to home, affordable, and comfortable place to hang out! Once you come, you'll be back!

DIRTY HOLE *N* DA WALL

I am new to Houston from Maryland and went out with a cousin of mine to a neighborhood bar cat daddy's. One bartender by the name of Texas, was very welcoming and nice, the other tall overweight lesbian chick suffers from acute mood swings and I dont think she likes Hispanics very much. I saw the difference in the way she waited on my cousin and I from a white couple that arrived shortly after we'd sat down. The bar reaked of ciggarette and cigar smoke so we ventured off to sit on the patio only to find three old guys pouring em' back and passing a doubie. Last place you want to be if you have morals.

Can't beat it for a local watering hole. Pool, darts, chess. When in the area boozing, have to make a point to stop by and visit Mario.

Great pool tables, great staff, great regulars, even a great owner--Mario!

This is the best place to have a cold beer or a cocktail in town. Really. Great pool tables if you play--new felt! I like darts, and the competition can be good. Great jukebox. Great staff. Great regulars. Great owner . They got Texas Hold Em and poker....no betting so you don't lose anything, you know? Man, its just alot of fun with a bunch of really good people--be it staff or regulars. I just love this place. If you're anywhere near the southwest side of town, its at Beechnut and Bissonnet. Take my word for it and go have a cold beer over there. You'll probably end up coming by every day after work! No kidding.
