Worst Dress Shop

Flat out. They scheduled us for a date they weren't open. You have got to be kidding me. I was furious. We were all excited both his and my family and when we got there they had a closed sign posted. Could they not call and let us know. Thank goodness there was an Alfred Angelo in the next strip center because we were all furious. I will never go back there. I've heard bad reviews and I shouldn't have even tried. The place is horribly kept up and nasty inside. The outside looks likes its been forclosed on which was not comforting.

I got married not long ago and giving them a review for they were really kind to me and my dress got in on time and with the color ordered, If it wasn’t for them I would not had a great wedding. Thank you.

Most Talented Seamstress Alive!

I waited until 4 months before my wedding to start looking for my dress (my fault). I found a dress I loved, and instead of telling me that they couldn't get it in my size in time, Sweetie promised me that Rosa could make it work. Many fittings later, Rosa had miraculously made a size 8 dress into a size 2-4. She put in so many long nights, and I'm absolutely amazed at how perfect the dress looks. Panache went above and beyond what any other dress shop would have done, and Rosa is hands down the most talented seamstress I've ever come in contact with.

Worst, most HORRIBLE experience EVER!!

The most HORRIBLE experience EVER with this shop! I was living out of town attending grad school, but getting married in my home town (Houston). For starters, my sales person was dumber than a box of rocks, and she told me that my dress was also made by another designer for about $400 cheaper- when on a tight budget, thats important. She tells me the dresses are exactly the same- but didnt have it in store to show me- well the dress was, but the back was missing all the details I loved! Second, when I received a call from my BM telling me that my dress was in- they couldn't get a hold of me- not that I think they really tried- nor did they contact my mother who was the second contact for my dress. They called about a month after it came in- when I was actually in town on Spring Break, so I had to make an extra trip (850 mile trip) back home for a fitting. When my mother comes to get the dress 2 days later, they had LOST the dress! They called her 3 days later telling her they found the dress. My mother paid in FULL for the dress. I come in town, get fitted, pay for the alterations up front. Then I call a week ahead of time to make sure the dress will be ready for my bridal portraits- I get the run around several times about this. I get into town, call them again, stating that I need the dress by 10 am the next morning for my bridal portraits- the lady actually asked me if I needed my wedding dress for this! Really? Do I need my dress for my BRIDAL PORTRAITS?? Yes, yes I did. The lady tells me I need to come in for a second fitting. I get there, and they have done NOTHING but rip out the hem of my dress! They end up locking me in the store (well because it was close to closing time and they had to get home to watch American Idol) with the extremely nice seamstress- who tells me that she asked repeatedly to start on the dress, but they said I hadn't finished paying for it, and it was on the Lay-away rack. I ended up coming back the next morning, as I didn't want to wait an hour for the seamstress to finish steaming my dress. The only bright side of this was the seamstress was very nice. We also got the BM dresses there, because we had a 30% off coupon- a lot of good that did- the prices were still really high with the coupon. Unless you are picking up the dress off the rack DONT GO HERE! If you need to order your dress- go somewhere else- it will save you a lot of headache in the future.

This place is worse than the 1 star definition of "eh". If i could get away with giving it negative stars, I would!

Great Place for a Dress

I had a great experience!

The place is a bit outdated, but they have a great dress selection. I went to Panache first and found a few dresses I fell in love with. I decided to look around a bit more, but no other store had as many dresses I liked. I ended up buying my dress there. Kirby helped me find dresses and try them on. I saw the same dress somewhere else for almost double what I paid.

Don't let the exterior fool you, this place has a great, modern selection!

Best bridal experience!

Its an amazing store!

Ilove the whole experience of making my dream wedding come true. I bought my wedding gown last april,2010. the magaer Ms Sweetie was amazing,her assistant Rosa and Ana were great . their entire team is very helpfull.They sold me wedding gown not only that a package which include veil,tiara.shoes,Tux rentals, bridesmaids.and much more. With what an expert alteration as well. My wedding came true on 4/16/11. I would recomment this boutique to anyone.

I love this place!

I found the dress I wanted (Mother of The Bride) at another store and decided to give Panache a try. I found the same dress at Panache for about $100 less! When my dress came in it had a manufacturing flaw in the bodice - not any fault of Panache. The dress I had tried on in another store had the same flaw. Maria, the seamstress, had to take the bodice apart and reform it. In fact, she made it better than it had been before! She is truly a master at her art!! They also did not charge me anything extra to fix the flaw in the dress. They explained that they are responsible for any dress purchased at their store. Wow! Finding a business that actually stands behind their product is rare. Finding a business that stands behind another company's product is unheard of!

I will definitely go back to Panache when I need to purchase a formal gown. I was ALWAYS treated with kindness and am so impressed that they went the extra mile to make sure I was happy.

Best dress shop ever!

Ms. Rosa helped me so much in finding my wedding dress, she was amazing! The dress selection was way better than at David's Bridal and when it came time to buy the dress and accessories, Rosa gave my family so many discounts! Amazing place to shop!

* I would give no stars if I could....*

My mother and I went here browsing for a wedding dress. Firstly, the service is atrocious. Not only did we have to pull the dresses ourselves but the dressing room was stained, hot and rather on the disgusting side. But the most horrible thing was that there were dresses out to be tried on that obviously had been ordered by other women. The tags had their NAMS AND ADDRESSES AND PHONE NUMBERS on them as well as all the order info. How they can in good practice put out dresses as samples that are new gowns ordered by a customer AND do so with all their info on it is beyond me. I mean, I could have called up or gone to the peoples HOUSES with the info out for all to see. Avoid this place like the plague. Their prices are ridiculous and their business practices are beyond disgusting. Find your dress somewhere else. Save your money and sanity.
