The Scene
The steeply sloped ceiling and rich Belgium wood produce the incredible acoustics that local and touring musicians rave about. Hundreds fit nicely into the main room, while the side room, with its pool table and Pole Position video game, plays host to smaller crowds.

The Draw
Power Hour is the Sidecar's version of happy hour. From 8:30pm till 9:30pm every night, patrons slurp down as many $1.25 domestic bottles and $1 schnapps as they can. There are more than 140 bottled beers from around the world available, although most tend toward the draught Guinness and Red Stripe bottles. The crowd relates to the type of bands on the bill. Rarely do goths, neo-hippies, good ol' boys and straight-lacers mix, but when they do, they manage to peacefully coexist.
