Lots of food for the price

Don Carlos is a stone's throw from Hobby Airport. Our excellent server was a young man, Armando. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the food, quick to refill the water glasses, and overall delightful. Free chips (which some restaurants charge for now), HUGE portions, quick service. Family friendly.

• Pros: Nice variety, large portions
• Cons: More authentic Mexican decor, please!

FANTASTIC!!!

AMAZING - great mexican food. Loved going there when we lived in Houston. Now we go back each and every time that we return.

Lunch specials are wonderful. Great portions, and the best flavor! I haven't had anything that is bad there. Nothing.

There's NO good mexican food in Northern CA, so it is a treat to get back there!

• Pros: Great queso, and wonderful food altogether! Great Service!
• Cons: Can get busy at lunch, but they are still pretty quick.

Great Mexican restaurant, customer service, and food

Great food and service. By far the best mexican restaurant to go to!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only thing is that they only have Pepsi brand sodas and no fresh lemonade.

Don Carlos on 76th is amazing! Great lunch specials plus free chili con queso during the week @ lunch! The chimichanga is to die for and happy hour specials are wonderful! I wish I could go everyday!

Don carlos has the most amazing enchiladas I have ever had! The orange (cheddar) cheese is piled on making sooo delicious.

The original on 76th st in Magnolia will always be the best but this is close as you can get to real authentic mexican food!
