One of my Favorites

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The entertainment is great but I go for the food. I love their Hibachi. They are a great place to eat.

OSHI, OSHI!!!

This is one of the best sushi places that I have tried so far. The sushi is fresh and the service has always been impeccable. My family and I eat here often and have never had a bad experience. My husband orders the grilled tuna salad which is very large and very tasty, my daughter orders the crab puffs with the tiger eye roll, and for me the the tiger eye roll with ponzu is a must -- every visit!! I like to try different rolls each visit (along with the tiger eye roll) and I have yet to try one that I didn't like. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant to anyone who is looking for great sushi at great prices!!!

cleanliness

I alway come to the rest. around 2-5 to eat but everytym i go the table are always dirty.lots of diryt plates n glass, I dont wanna eat w/ a dirty place like this. alot of stuff stingdown....

Downhill or the other reviewers are employees/owners

I have stayed in the area over the past month and this is the only sushi restaurant. Unfortunately the staff shows very little understanding of what it means to run a sushi restaurant. At the sushi bar, the fish is exposed instead of being being behind closed refrigerators. It is not wrapped properly. The sushi chefs clean the floor area with mops and make sushi without washing their hands inbetween. Few wear plastic gloves. The fish is not as fresh as it could/should be. Go elsewhere.

To the owners of this place: Your staff is more concerned at 9 pm with cleaning up and making sushi for other staff members to take home than in serving customers. The hygiene level is unacceptably low.

Best Hibachi Ever!!

I'm a regular customer for years. Sid, the head Hibachi chef is by far the best I've ever seen. Ever have a down day? Let Sid cook for you and all your worries are gone!

The sushi is always fresh and delicious. I always order the filet mignon and it's always just right. I usually go to Ichibon about 3-4 times a month so everyone there knows me. Recently, they hired a new manager (a tall gentlemen) and he seems to have upped the level of service and speed at the restaurant as well. Great place, great food. . .I'm a customer for life.

MMmMmmM good

i went here with my cousin whose friend worked there. it was really fun. and was fairly amusing when "B" did sponge bob square pants and he used that trick bottle to act like he squirted something on my friends shirt.. it was good. i love the fried rice. i cant wait to go back and try the fried icecream!

mmm mmm ichibon!

My dad and I have been going to Ichibon for years. Now that I'm older, I really enjoy their sushi. The spicey tuna handrolls are the best! The other menu items are very good too. I recommend the chicken katsu also. Their lunch specials are very filling and cheap. Sushi B lunch special is awsome! Ichibon is always going to be one of my favorites!

Happy Hour wasn't so happy

I went to the Happy Hour that they have on weekdays from 5-7. From the get go, the service was not very good. The hostess had a bad attitude and did not give us the HH menu. Service in general was slow, compared to other Japanese restaurants that I've been to in the Houson area. However, the spicy scallop and cajun handrolls are good. Just be sure that when you order, you specify handroll otherwise they will automatically put you down for the regular roll without verifying which one you want.
