Worst Mechanic--Strongly advice not to opt for 3"Mobile Mechanic" on 515 Hillcroft St ,Tx 77057

2 days before i had a problem in inserting keys into ignitions of my Car and so i've to call my insurance for help. I was given 2 options either to call for towing service or an mobile mechanic. I felt Mobile mechanic would be an better option and called "Mobile Mechanic" for fixing my car issue. Someone picked up the call and was asking about the details of my car and told me that its going to be 70 $ for Road assistance + for fixing the key issue(smartly took my Credit card details ... ) .

He took 1 hr to reach the place and tried to start the car using th e keys and he was not able to start it. He tried to start my car by hammering the keys to the ignition and somehow managed to start the car. Worst thing was he was not able to switch the ignition off.

Funiest thing that he told was " this emergency is to start the car and not to stop the car" , also gave an idea how to stop the car for which he charged 75 $(total 145$ on the invoice) .

End of the day he submitted 69(got my CC details once i called him) + 145 USD to my bank and worst thing is i've to pay 550 USD to fix my ignition and the only reason that my service centre guy was ignition keys were roughly handled .

So better advice not to go with "mobile mechanic"

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

By calling the main number, you reach a dispatcher who then calls on contractor mechanics to get out to you. The mechanic then calls you to confirm. The consultation is $49, which may be credited to the service fees if you choose to use them. When I spoke with the mechanic, named Lewis, at 1:15pm, I had asked him to meet me at 2:15pm. He asked that I call him 20-25 minutes before that time as a "reminder." I called him at 1:50pm to remind him. When I called him again at 2:15pm, he was still 15 minutes away and proceeded to tell me that it had not been 25 minutes yet. I choose not to deal with anyone that wastes my time. He called repeatedly and then left a message on my phone, saying "You're a liar, insert profanity." Do not use this very unprofessional service!
