The Roxy on Wed. Nights is the best jump off spott , if u don't wanna go downtown...

I'm 24 and I haven't been to any downtown clubs yet , but as for the clubs that are not downtown where u don't actually have to pay for parking and then pay $20 to get in , I do recommend this club ...it's not down town but it is in a good area..Ladys free b4 11:00 which I love , The crowd is better than most clubs thats inner city , I guess there alittle more mature on Wed. than ur other Wed night jump off spots.. So on Wed. night I suggest the Roxy!!!

Avoid teen night

first off all i just want to say to anyone under 18 dont go here for teen night it isnt fun when i was 15 and 16 i really wanted to go out so i went to the roxy for theyre teen night that takes place every monday night during the summer and its not that great all very crowed, not alot of cute guys and the music is lame. just to be honest

I recently went to The Roxy after a couple of years this past Saturday and I'd have to tell you I had just as much fun as I did in the past. The drink prices are the best in town and the music is nothing but the top 40 hits. We decided to get a bottle of Grey Goose and we were surprised at how low the price was. It was great! The crowd is a hip, young and trendy crowd. The staff was very friendly even the doorman at the valet entrance, he was so nice even about my friend's out of state ID. Some doormans make a big deal about it and always give people a hard time in exchange for tips but this doorman was great. I have to say that I LOVED my experience there and next time I head out to anywhere I'll make sure it's here!

• Cons: Somewhat of a long line & no smoking in the club

If you are 18+ and are going to the club to dance, I would recommend this club. However, if you are 21+ I honestly wouldn't. Friday nights are usually fun, but Saturday can get kind of boring.

Cheap drinks not worth the bad crowd and bad attitudes

Way too many young kids. Some nights are totally dead, but they charge you a cover and for parking anyway. I'd also say that the parking people are totally shady about how much they're really supposed to charge you. The woman at the front was really rude. On a very crowded night, the whole area near the bathrooms smelled like maybe someone had too much to drink and their stomach emptied it's contents all over the floor, and nobody seemed to care enough to clean it up the whole night. The crowd is never the type I'd want to mix and mingle with, and I'm glad I never went there without at least one man just to be safe. The only decent thing about it is that the music is good. I guess I can't expect much more than that. Oh yeah, the drinks are cheap compared to other clubs/bars, but I wouldn't drive all the way to the Galleria and deal with everything else like the kids, creeps, scams, and rudeness just for some cheap drinks. I could get that at a lof of other places. If you're not into upscale outings and can't stand yuppies, then I guess you'll like it here...

Tuesday use to be ok, but as some others have said, looked like teen night. After summer, tuesday are pretty dead there. Saturday, however, is good. and doesnt look like teen night. The music is good, playing those hip hop hits and playing a techno song sometimes. My experience is good here, will return some time. Service of course and drinks and their prices are great. I really dont know where you can beat all of that at another place, if you know, please tell me. the crowd is pretty mixed as well, azn,span,W & B

Place to be on a Friday

Roxy is the most scoolest place to go hang out. The music be jumpin and people there are dancing all night non-stop. So, i suggest to go the Roxy, u won't regret in.

It has been a few years since I have been to the Roxy, but that club is still packing them in after all of these years. The music was great and the dj had the dance floor packed all night. Bartenders still made strong drinks witch is a plus in my book!!! I guess it is easy to see why this place is still open and still packed.

Ok time

This was definitely nothing spectacular. I heard that Roxy used to be amazing, but it has lost its appeal. The dancers were nice for the most part, but overall it was just OK.

Since '94, this raucous (and occasionally raunchy) nightclub has been one of the top weekend scenes in southwest Houston.

With frequent dirt-cheap drink specials, pulsating laser lights, huge dance floor and top 40 DJs, Roxy still draws in the 20-something crowd a decade later. In-house DJs spin dance and hip-hop while the dance floor throbs with a mix of the scantily clad and single. Expect all four floors to fill up as the evening wears on. Check the calendar for current events, but it's usually anything goes, including amateur strip contests and foam parties.
