Very Upscale
by SarahTea
This is the nicest strip club in Houston, very classy, great decor (no fake Venus paintings and poorly done "Renaissance" stuff), good wine list.
- Pros: Beautiful girls, upscale atmosphere, good pool patio
- Cons: Bring your money, small stages.
pretentious people!
by whitraeg
This club is a joke! if you are not wearing a designer suit or look like a barbie doll, you will be looked at like trash from the second you walk in. The staff was very rude. GIRLS ALL HAD FAKE BREASTS and extensions in their hair. not my type of girl what so ever. unless you let society dictate your desires, you will not find this club very amusing at all.
- Pros: none
- Cons: barbie doll girls
BEST CLUB
by umiuo
Read some other reviews and thought I might clear things up. TMC is definitely the BEST club in Houston. People think they get bad service usually because these are those terrible customers that complain about EVERYTHING (yeah, you know those ones at restaurants). The staff here treats you well unless you're causing a scene. Also, people don't seem to understand that dancers do not work for free!!! Why do you think that a dancer wants to sit and talk to you for hours without getting paid? They don't... they're at work!!! Surprise! These dancers charge hourly, so don't be surprised if your tab is high. This is a high-class club. Plus, stop blaming everyone else if there are no dancers. They're independent contractors... know what that means? They work whenever the hell they want. So don't start a fit because you don't get what you want. This is by far the best place to be. If you don't have a dancer, it's probably just because you're there to try and get a free show!
- Pros: waitresses, managers, food, great wine list
- Cons: can be expensive, but normal for a strip club
horrible night
by 741258
I was staying at the embassy suites which is located near this club so had the urge to go. That was a bad idea the moment i sit down a dancer came to my table and knocked my drink over on my lap an accident obviously but i wouldnt of minded if she would have said sorry. Then waitress got management and they were acting like it was a big deal to get me a new drink on the house. girls looked very drawn and way too skinny just not my type felt like i was watching tales from the crypt I wont be returning to that one
- Pros: nice decor
- Cons: horrible staff
Beware Fraudulent Management
by bww3819
Beware if you choose to go to this strip club. I went for a bachelor party and if management thinks you are too drunk they will try to screw you into paying for more than what you received. They tried to come back and charge my credit card for over $1K worth of expenses when I only signed a $400 bill. This place is fraudlent and out to get your dollar.
Clean, Good service, Great girls
by leggychick
I haven't been to too many clubs of this sort, but this one is definitely the best so far. The crowd was clean and decent, the girls were hotter, nicer, and classier than girls at other places, the servers were attentive, and the place was easy to locate. I don't think our group could've asked for anything more.
- Pros: lovely girls, good service, clean crowd, good location
- Cons: don't know of any yet...
Avoid at all costs - Horrible management with no concern for customer satisfaction
by ricknova
The Men's Club has absolutely horrible management that doesn't know the first thing about customer satisfaction. This was definitely the worst experience I've EVER had at a strip club. My wife and I decided to go for our anniversary, and we promptly paid the $20 cover at the door. We sat near the stage and ordered our drinks. We started wondering why there were no dancers on stage after the first couple of songs, and were about to go speak with someone after no dancers had appeared after about seven songs. Suddenly, the music stopped and a television at the end of the room blared that a boxing match was about to start. There had been nothing advertised outside or inside the club about a television fight, and they didn't mention anything at the door when we dropped our money down.
I went to speak with the manager, and very politely told him that my wife and I would like our cover charge back, since we came to see dancers, not a boxing match. His exact words were "We don't give money back." I remained polite, and logically explained that giving our money back would be the right thing to do. He kept repeating his canned mantra .... "I'm sorry you feel that way" ....., no matter what I said However, it was obvious that there was no way he would consider giving our money back. We spent $40 to go in there for a few minutes and have one drink each, and not see a single dancer.
At least we felt some satisfaction as we walked through the parking lot to our car. We ran across several people who were headed towards the front door, and explained that there were no dancers at the moment. Everybody we explained the situation to returned to their cars and likely went to other clubs to spend their money.
- Pros: Boxing on television
- Cons: Expensive cover, expensive drinks, bad management, stages without dancers
Where have all the strippers gone?
by christamarie
I swear, this USED to be a TOP club in Houston. I went last month and was pretty disappointed in the girls that were working there. They have definatley been more leinient on who can dance there and who can't. Althought the girls were awful... the service was great. VIP was great, and they definatley took care of us.
- Pros: waitresses, bartenders
- Cons: dancers, very trashy
So-So
by txwild
Too stuffy for me, but nice girls none the less. Not a good place to go for the average joe, dancers are looking for suits who they think will spend mucho dinero.
