These are definitely some of the best burgers in Houston, in a no frills, come as you are, have a beer and kick back type atmosphere. As far as ambience goes, it's not very romantic, but it's perfect for a burger place, because burgers are meant to be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. And yes the buffalo burgers are very tasty.

Bacon Cheese Buffalo Burger!

Throw on those tattered jeans, your favorite t-shirt and flip-flops, and head down to Bubbas on a sunny afternoon. Nothing can top an ice-cold beer, their bacon cheese buffalo burger and jalapeno potato salad, while sitting on their patio. This rickety, converted ice-house, and Bubbas crusty but friendly demeanor only adds to the experience. The current 610/59 construction makes getting into Bubbas parking lot difficult, but the smile on your face when you leave makes the effort worth while.

Best Burgers in Town!!

The healthy burgers and friendly atmosphere make this restaurant one of my favorite in town. Great when you're in the mood for a laid back, GOOD meal!! Wonderful selection of interesting drinks and menu items you can' find together anywhere else (buffalo burgers and steaks, jones sodas, st. arnold's beer, jalapeno potato salad)!!

American Institution

I don't know how much longer this institution and mainstay of the American landscape will escape the onslaught of Houston expansion and freeway construction. However, while it lasts enjoy a burger done right on the front porch.

Buffalo is on the menu!

Buffalo is on the menu! Fries are not an option.

Bubba Melt and the Buffalo cheese burger are a must!! Buffalo chili is also very tasty.

I preferred the Bubba Melt on white or wheat, no jalapenos.

Also a must are the hot -n- sweet homemade pickles...delicious alone - even better on a burger.

Also serve buffalo steaks

Bubba's gets my vote for the best burger shack in Houston.

The best beef and buffalo burgers that you will ever have. Definitely try their jalepeno potato salad!! I love this place!

Great burgers in a country shack

While the place looks like it was dropped by highway by a tornado, Bubba's makes the best burgers I've had in Houston. You definitely have to go for the buffalo burgers for their full flavor. The place looks rusty but that's part of it's charm. The people are friendly and the food is great. What else could you ask for?
