I lost my keys and needed to have the dealership cut me new ones ($45/key) at Russell & Smith. The keys then needed to be programmed and their programmer was down. They gave me a one-time code to start the car. I took off work, went home to start the car and drove to Goodson Honda West. They told me the keys did not need programming (wasted trip). I got home and the car would not restart - they did need programming. Goodson Honda was not willing to pay for towing or offer to program the keys even though it was their mistake. I am now paying $300 ($97 for the keys, $100 towing, $100 programming fee) for 2 keys!!! I guess they really need the money since programming a key does not require parts and 5 minutes of labor. Please help me by not giving them business.

What else do you expect from a car dealer when he shadows your every step and refuses to let you walk away? I've bought many cars in my life and know the drill.... I was debating between purchasing an Accord or a CRV. I went to Goodson and the young guy let me test drive both cars and told me all about it.... but they didn't have the color I wanted for either, so I told him to call me when they got the right colored car in and turned for the door. The dealer insisted that I wait for him to get his manager to come talk to me. And by insisted, he was borderline yelling at me. Offended, I continued to walk out, but his manager came running after me. He pursuaded me to come into his office and discuss the deal. Long story short, they didn't have the color car I wanted. But the manager assured me that if I put a $1500 deposit and signed a contract, he could get me "MY CAR" shipped in two days. He even went down on the price. Now from experience, I know to never trust a car dealer's word, so I bluntly said, "No. I will not buy a car I've NEVER seen or test driven before." He persisted and I became aggravated. One last time, I said, "No thank you." From that, the manager of this car dealer began insulting me! He basically told me that I'm going to set myself up for failure and will get screwed by another dealer by walking out. He told me I knew nothing about buying a car. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT???!!!! I kept my cool, and just walked out. I will NEVER set foot there again.
Pros: NONE
Cons: RUDE managers, car dealers
