DO NOT BUY PUPPY FROM THESE GUYS
by chihuahualovers
I bought 2 beagle puppies on Mother's day 2009. At home, I started notice they are stink and I give them a bath with Zodiac brand name( including oatmeal) hours later they are stink as the chemical in the hair colo dyeing. One of the Beagle started vonmit and have diarreah. The next day, I took them to Petsmart and paid $33.00 for puppy medication bath. Half a day later they are stink again. Those nice people at Petsmart advised me to take them to Vet ASAP. My Vet's bill is closed to $300.00 for anti-biotic, anti hookworms and Flea prevention. Today on the third day, after 2 baths, the color of the ears and the color of their heads starts to fade from black to a wash-out black and brown. The Beagles ate still smell " chemical" but not quite offensive as before. I should have dispute my Visa transaction but it is not worth my time. DO NOT, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THE PUPPY FROM THESE GUYS. IT IS UNETHICAL AND INHUMAN TO TREAT THESE PUPPIES THIS WAY TO MAKE A LIVING.
- Pros: Nice place to walk around and buy cheap stuff
- Cons: UNHEALTHY PUPPY AND UNETHICAL SELLERS
DON'T BUY ANYTHING THAT IS ALIVE
by WilliamsKristy
I SAY DON'T BUY ANYTHING THAT IS ALIVE DUE TO THE FACT THAT MY BOYFRIEND AND I BOUGHT A VERY CUTE, ADORABLE BABY PUPPY FROM THIS PLACE ON A SUNDAY AND WE WERE BURING IT WEDNESDAY NIGHT. WE ARE GOOD PEOPLE WHO JUST WANTED A PUPPY IN OUR HOME TO LOVE AND CHERISH AND WE HAVE BEEN DESTROYED EVER SINCE. PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF YOU AND ALL YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THAT IS ALIVE FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WATCH IT DIE.
- Pros: GOOD DEALS
- Cons: BAD QUALITY
Best shopping and festivals
by jcool6564
I love this place. The shopping is great and and the merchandise is inexpensive. I feel safe when shopping, unlike at the other flea markets in town. And, there is always a festival or concert going on... It's just a fun place to go on weekends.
- Pros: Everything
- Cons: Nothing
Houston's most popular flea market is also a hotbed of local music.

The Scene
Mall-weary shoppers will want to check out this outpost of mom-and-pop capitalism where vendors peddle everything from Oriental carpets and homemade salsas to garage sale treasures and one-of-a-kind art. With as many as 1,200 dealers operating on the 100-acre site, this supersize flea market offers visitors such up-to-date amenities as mobile beverage carts and its own ATM.
The Draw
Open every weekend from 9am to dusk, Traders Village has evolved into one of Houston's most unlikely music venues, with local bands providing afternoon entertainment from the giant covered stage.
