Watch Out!

by Ryan755

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I called the front desk the day before and this kid (Christian) didn't even want to make my reservation. I made several requests to have him bring missing items up to my room. He said he would bring them up, and never showed up. Then the guy who worked the shift after him said he would do the same and never showed up either! This might be one of the worst hotels, but it has the number one worst customer service. The carpets in the hallways and the rooms are pealing up. The furniture is way outdated. The TV is low quality and has minimal channels. Two of my lamps were broken. The air conditioning was passable. There were many places to eat near by. The room smelled. The bathroom was way to small, and had a gigantic crack in the wall. There was no water pressure. The windows don't even open. I couldn't check out of here fast enough if I broke the window and jumped out! I don't know what other Red Roof Inns are like, but do yourself a favor and pass this one by.

The hotel's quirky little mascot--a bobble head named Red--stands for all the comforts of home at a budget-friendly price.

In Short
The tiled red-roofed inn has been a mainstay for travelers in search of value and relaxation since 1973. Standard rooms boast cable TV, coffee makers and unlimited local telephone calls. Additional property features include free USA Today in the lobby on weekdays and photocopy and fax services for a modest charge. Deluxe rooms have the added conveniences of a small microwave and refrigerator. Families may request cribs and rollaway beds at no charge.

A great place to spend the night

by djj010687

My family and i stayed there while moving from Florida to Houston, and we had our Lab, abby with us. We had to find somewhere to stay that would accomidate pets because of this, so we stayed at the red roof inn. The hotel was of course not the nicest i have ever stayed at, but it was a good nights rest after a long day in the car. We had very easy access to the freeway, so we could go across and catch a movie at the theater, or a bite to eat, and we were able to go to our new home and check it out before we moved in.

  • Pros: Pets allowed, Inexpensive, Freeway accessible
  • Cons: Lower Quality
