Red River isn't as Fancy as your downtown clubs. However Mostly everybody in the place knows everybody. The drinks are cheap yes, however there is no way to water down a budlight. As for the mixed drinks yea, but tell me what club doesnt. As far as the staff goes, dont walk in with an attitude and there wont be any problems. For those that have said that the cops dont care. Throw a fist and see how fast the cops get there. However there is just one creepy thing there, a group of guys on the stair case by the girls bathroom, everytime i go there they seem to be there, same 4 or 5 guys.

Pros: .75 longnecks, 1.25 well

Cons: small dancefloor

i wanna know who the hell thinks they can get in this place with a fake id and or get in and order drinks or even try to sneak and drink. they have cops workin' doors and i think they know what a fake id looks like. i see it every weekend.. they never let anyone in with a fake id. believe me.. i practically live there. yeah it might seem like i have no life being there thursday, friday and saturday of every week.. but its actually family there. when you have been goin there for 2 years goin on 3.. you tend to know everyone there. but really underage drinking does not happen as much as you think there. ive tried sneakin in the bathroom.. believe me they have people watching those.. and it aint gonna happen. try to drink in the parkin' lot.. they have undercover cops out there too. but its an amazing place and i am about to have my 21st birthday there next month.. and my bachelorette party there as well.. its the best place to meet new friends and dance away your worries.

Pros: guaranteed amazing time and new friends

Cons: parkin' on busy nights

I'm laughing really hard at all of the reviews on here. What do you people expect from a bar with cheap drinks in Tomball, for the love of God? Yes, the place is full of drunk backwoods boys, and girls wearing rather minimal clothing. It's a country bar in kind of a backwards part of town! If you want clean bar stools and overpriced martinis, head downtown. Try relaxing and laughing at the hole in the wall for what it is, and I promise you'll have a better time. Sit back, have a cheap beer, and laugh at everyone getting drunk and acting like fools! You can put down everyone there for being yokels and hillbillies if you want, but if you look around, they aren't the ones sitting around crying because the parking lot isn't pretty or because some drunk chick is shaking her thong clad butt all over the place. They are there to get lit, get rowdy, maybe get a little loving, but most of all, they make their own fun. It's pretty easy to do if you have a sense of humor and some good friends around you. Now, this place does have problems that have nothing to do with the atmosphere. The line at the bar is ridiculous. BUT if you tip your waitress really well, she'll take care of you. Don't forget that these girls are working the same amount, whether your drink is a dollar or five. The dance floor gets too crowded with people who don't know how to dance when it's time to really get in any good C&W by the end of the night. Watch out for flying elbows! Go and enjoy the dirty honkytonk experience at least once. Then you can go back to whatever higher class 'saloon' you want.

Let me tell you...if you are someone that is under the age of 21 and have a fake ID, they will let you in, and OH by the way not only let you in, but serve you drinks until you are basically unable to walk...and STILL let you out the door! The state has put a restiction on this for a reason...they have done several things to make sure you can tell a fake ID vs. a real on. Why the club does not have any of this in place or trained its people to know the difference is beyond me. Don't get me wrong, I have been there and have enjoyed the dancing...but also noticed all the people that were underage...but when it comes to making money and the underage people in the bar, there are an incredible amount of people this pertains to! My son left the bar and was served too much and is now in CCU...they will basically let ANYBODY in the door if they are breathing~! They are there to make money, not your normal nightclub that is actually there to make sure people are safe vs. how much they can make and how many people they can get a cover charge for. NOTE: If you are young...not a problem getting in...if you are a parent watch out, as they do not have the direction of other clubs in the Houston surrounding area that actually takes pride in letting people in and checking ID's, along with making sure when they leave the club, and checking on responsibility along with there responsibility for over serving! They have given a very poor example of this! VERY poor leadership when it comes to that!

This is the worst place I ever went in. Outside is shoddy, parking lot full of glass, grass overgrown, hwy sign a mess. Rudest staff ever! Of course drinks are cheap theyre watered down so much its worth a quarter! Nothing in this trash but below 21 chicks who need a diaper change. Not a place for anyone over 30 unless they like to "cruise the playground". Overcrowded with these KIDS. Staff is rude, the place is a mess. Sure the br's are a mess, its those underage and 21-24 old chicks in their stuffin their bras. I'll never take my friend there again. We heard about it, saw the outside and went "what a dump" but gave it a chance. I DONT recommend this hole for anyone. Its like Romper Room with thongs. I'm a decent man, hell I'm all for a little younger, but at 31 trying to get busy with some of these chicks is like statutory!! Its a kids hangout. Hey dont it tell you something when a bar lets in under 21 kids? Its a teen house. Be damned if I want to pick up some split tail that not over 27, 28. Go here if youre into young chicks that will bed you like the express lane. Its all about the money here. They'll let anyone in. If you have any self respect go to Mollys or Big Texas. This dive needs to be closed down. Needs to be reported to the ATF. Oh wait, the cops run the door! ha. Really, one look at this place and its just trash. The chicks are trash, the whole place is a freaking mess. Guy down there says theyre easy oh yeah sure are. If you like em young youre either sick or cant get any by someone your age. This place is for you. I think the staff is the rudest bunch of backwoods yokels ever! Come here just be ready to wait, get run over by chicks half dressed and no dude theyre NOT above average. Its the best Tomball has to offer? Hell no, go somewhere else where the chicks have some class. And some age. I wouldnt recommend this dump to anyone. Unless youre 18 you can cruise for "older' chicks, say 20? Disgrace. Filthy, rundown.

I love this place!!! drinks are great and the house drinks are better than the name brand. Don't worry about the staff if you are following the rules....they just are watching the ones breaking the rules. Some ppl do things their mom would be ashamed of, like putting siliva on the floor, braking beer bottles, and the bathroom well the deco may not be up to par, but it is usable. The ladies seem to enjoy making a very big mess in there. There is a mixture of age groups and different times of the night. Most of the older crowd comes early and the middle age come well around 9 but after 10 the under 21 crowd shows up. RR can't control who comes and when they come out. Each night is a little different. Upgrades to date on the place are LCD tv's were installed, there is two 42" and one really large one on the old dance floor. The DJ plays great sets and will usually play what you request. I think the name Dance Hall and Salon is fitting....since back in the day it would have probably look much like the way it does at Red River. It gives you a chance to experience what your grandparents had, or maybe even your great great grandparents. Those who come to the bar need to respect the place just a little more though.....facts are everywhere you go (discount stores etc.) when they improve the place the ppl just tear it up....... PRO: Everything about this bar, bartenders, waitresses, floor managers, yes even door attendents, and officers, drinks are inexpensive Cons: Smoke (I hate that)

Mixed feelings on this one. Everyone else is right about the manager, owner, staff, and glorified Harris County Security Guard (Deputy Sherriff) at the front door. I've never willingly handed my money over to anyone that responded as rudely as this bunch. The parking lot is shoddy, as are the bathrooms. Come to think of it, the whole place seems shoddy and run down; think of 80's-90's red neck country club styling, like Gilleys in the movie "Urban Cowboy". Now imagine it in a severe state of neglect and disrepair and you get a proper idea. I also hate second hand smoke, and since there is either no ventilation system in this place, or it is broken, 30 minutes into the experience my eyes begin to water, and I begin to cough and choke. On the plus side, there are quite a few hotties running aroung the place, and the general concensus is that its easy to take home some local split-tail or dirty-leg from this place. Yes the women are easy and most are fair to above average in the looks department, usually no beer goggles are required. If you have one of the following; good game, good talking skills, chiseled physique, decent payroll, or just a sharp dresser, you should have no problem pulling a piece to take home and beat the brakes off it. Another plus is the drinks. Excellently priced, but be prepared to wait for each drink order. Word to the wise; place double drink orders, and double fist them in order to cut down on drink order waiting time.

This place is awful. The place is in shambles and extrememely poorly staffed. After being very rudely greeted at the front door, we found the cheap drinks everyone raved about. I now see why they are so cheap. I guess they assume that their patrons are going for quantity over quality. I should have just gone with beer. Don't go there unless you plan on anything other than the two-step. If you try to do anything else, you will find yourself kicked out. Heaven forbid someone try a move that is different from the rest of the "herd"! Maybe we just didn't fit in because we had an asian guy in our group, or perhaps we should have worn wranglers and cowboy hats. I don't know, but the bouncer certainly singled us out. Oh, and don't even try to talk to the manager. He's the most ignorant, hot-headed, idiot you'll ever meet. There's no reasoning with him. He'll get in your face and cuss you out before you even get a chance to talk to him, no matter your size, gender, or sobriety level. They are in good with the cops at the precinct next door, so we actually had the cops called on us for dancing! Amazing! Luckily, the cops were smart enough to realize that the whole ordeal was ridiculous. They did not even approach us, which makes me think it was all a show. Never, never again! I can't believe I went there in the first place, but really, who the hell do they think they are? If you want cheap drinks and country music, go to Wild West or someplace in the city. Avoid this backward dump!

This was my first experience at red river and I think it was great. I have already started telling friends about it and planning out next visit. I didn't know names of drinks but I told the bartender things I liked and she whipped it up good and quick. The atmosphere was really fun and inviting. I didn't see any problems with the staff or facility. I thought it was great and would recodmend it to anyone.

Pros: fun environment

Cons: smoking inside

Despite the rude doorman, the people there are really nice and friendly. It has a great at-ease, friendly atmosphere. You can have fun without worrying about impressing anybody. It was amazing.
