Not my first choice

I stayed in this hotel twice, and both times the A/C was not working in the gym; it was so bad that I was sweating before I started working out! Also, the machines were in poor condition on both trips, and after my first trip I reported these things to the front desk. Also, the doors to the pool automatically lock from the inside, so after your swim, or more importantly, if you need to use the restroom during your time at the pool, you have to re-enter through the hotel lobby to get to the bathroom and then return to the pool. What kid is going to take the time and energy to do that instead of peeing in the water?!

But to the hotel's credit, the bar staff and the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. So, I would say that the blue collar staff does a good job, but administration is lousy at this hotel because they don't reinvest in it properly and do not really consider guests' needs when making policies. If you encounter these problems, just still be nice to the women who change your sheets and refresh your coffee. This place surely stinks for them, too.

Horrible

The food was old, the people were rude, and the bellman played at their stand. We had a king suite at an $89 rate on the weekend. They priced it $109, and then sent us to a small corner room on the 8th floor, where kids made noise and the security had to come back more than once. I would never take my husband back there again! Also Marilyn the front desk manager had a horrible attitude. She needs to be fired. The amenities I asked for was not in the room when we checked in. They had to bring them in. They also charged for a van we never used.
