terrible customer service and rude clerk

I have a relative who lost 3 family members in 3 weeks. I went in to River Oaks plant shop to get a flower basket to be delivered. I felt very rushed by the clerk, and it was obvious she was in a hurry to leave the store for the day.

I felt rushed an ripped off. I'll never go back...too expensive anyway.

I have no idea how to put together a creative yet beautiful flower arrangement and that is why I go here!! I'm a guy and have no experience or "know how" in this feild. My lady is always impressed with the flowers "I" put together for her. Also, delivery is always on time! Great place!

Poor Customer Service

Poor customer service and flowers. Want problems rectify with satisfaction, this is NOT the place to go. I agree totally with the other reviews regarding negative results. My boyfriend purchased flowers for Valentine's Day, paid over $100 and I received dead and dying flowers. Randall Groceries sends out a new arrangement when customers are not satisfied. Also, cannot go wrong with Albert Miller Flowers - 713.529.8721 (Allen Parkway & Waugh Dr.)!!

Money for Nothing

I ordered an anniversary arrangement of flowers by phone worth $100 to be delivered end of Dec. '08. The so called arrangement consisted of a few medium size and small roses, a cabbage and some apples stuck in a small glass vase! I could have put together something better if I had bought flowers at the nearby Randalls grocery store for $10.00. On top of that, the flowers all died within 3 days of delivery. I would not recommend the service nor the flowers sold here. Beware!!!

Great flowers

Order all my holiday flowers there, and have never had any problem. Everything was beautiful. Valentine flowers were beautiful. GO there. Rolo

Customer Service Leaves Much to be Desired

Their plants are beautiful but their customer service is far from it. We bought an orchid from this nursery and within 3 weeks, despite following care instructions to the T, the orchid's leaves turned yellow and began to fall out. When we brought the plant back to the store 3 weeks after purchase, we were first told that orchid leaves were supposed to fall out. We were then told to come back in an hour when the manager would be in the store. When we returned, the manager was terribly rude and claimed that she also had no authority to take action. I have never received such horrible customer service before.

If you are looking for beautiful and unique arrangements with personal service, then look no further. I will not purchase my fresh flowers or topiary at any other place. The staff at ROPH are reliable and remember their customers from one visit to the next. Buy in confidence!

great place for wedding flowers

Gary, at River Oaks Plant House, make my wedding bouquets, corsages, and boutonnières. All of the flowers far exceeded my expectations. They were extremely fresh and beautiful. His designs are truely unique. He was more than happy to work within my budget. Highly recommend.
