Easy to get in and get out, I love the sauce, my favorite thing to do is get a link of sausage and slice it up and but on a slice of bread with lots of sauce. This place also has a very steady bar crowd with lots of regulars. Sausage, brisket, and ribs are all very good with lots of flavor. I have never tried there sides or other meats.
- Pros: Sauce
Good food - limited selection

This place had some good Bar-B-Que and my girlfriend loved the brisket sandwich and the onion bun that it was served on. The option for sides was pretty limited with only potato salad, coleslaw, and pinto beans to choose from. I had the turkey and it was just okay so I think I'll try the chicken or brisket when I return.
- Pros: Good Barbecue
- Cons: Limited selection of sides
Awesome brisket

Damn the brisket is good! Just the right balance of tender and smoky, not too dry not too fatty, and good and smoky! The closest you can get to Arthur Bryant's in Houston is by getting 12-16 oz of the sliced brisket and piling it on sliced bread with sauce smothered over each layer. Sauce is pretty good. I think it must be very high in sodium, though... a word of caution to those watching b.p. ("something" pressure. Review won't let me use the word). At least... whenever I eat here I end up VERY thirsty.
I haven't tried anything else. The menu is fairly limited, and I was not interested in any of their sides. But who cares? Its a nice joint and they have awesome brisket. The ribs look delicious as well.
- Pros: Brisket
- Cons: None so far!
1st try at Texas BBQ
by neroflash at Citysearch
Well it's my first taste at Texas BBQ and this place was good. I really don't have much to compare it with.
Ambiance: This a very casual place, all most like a country sports bar; Food: The ribs are pinkish tender moist with quite a bit of fat at the end of it, they tasted good; The Brisket was tender moist and tasty, the smoked turkey did not really have a smoked flavor and the sausage had a boudin like feel on the inside and felt smoked, The sauce: Great tasting sauce with a bit a spice(it was my favorite thing there); Service: Not much here its like ordering food at a deli or fast-food place.
Overall it was a good experience.
- Pros: The sauce and the Brisket
- Cons: Condiments
Great Food

Stay away from the links!!! Everything else is on the mark. Sauce is DIFFERENT, but good. Side dishes are "OK" but nothing to brag about. You can order as much as you like, they weigh you portion and charge you by the pound, no misuse of amount to be served when it's done like this.
- Pros: Beef
- Cons: Links, Wait, Smoking
Good Luling

This restraunt I visit often. The Meat is great. The sides are few. Could use a remodel inside and get rid of the smokers.
Sauce is King!

The food tastes great, but I love the sauce! A bit on the pricey side, but good barbecue's worth it!
- Pros: Sauce, Tender meats
- Cons: It's a bar
