MY CAR WAS RUNNING HOT AND THEY DIAGNOSED AS A THERMOSTAT! SO I GOT THAT FIXED AND I PAID AND LEFT. THAT SAME DAY MY CAR OVERHEATED, WHICH CAUSED EVEN MORE DAMAGES SO THE CLOSEST GARAGE I COULD MAKE IT SAID, "IF I FIXED IT ORIGINALLY RIGHT, I WOULN'T HAVE NEED A NEW ENGINE NOW." I'M SO UPSET I'M GOING TO CONTACT MY ATTORNEY FOR WORK PERFORMED THAT WASN'T EVEN NECCESSARY OR PROBABLY EVEN THE PROBLEM AND PROMISES THEY MADE EVERYTHING WAS OK. BE AWARE. BE VERY AWARE.

Pros: NONE

Joe takes care of my family cars and has for a few years. He finds problems before they cause bigger problems by taking care of the whole car, not just taking care of the immediate problem that the car was brought in to get fixed. He and his staff are very competent. He uses OEM parts. With just a short description of the noise or behavior of the car he can diagnose and correct the problem within 1 day, usually. He calls with an exact description of the problem(s) he found and a cost estimate before any work is done. He has always explained the operation of the broken part so that I understand what is being done to the car, which is helpful to me. My neighbors speak highly of him. They encouraged me to try his shop the next time I needed a mechanic. I join them in recommending Joe's Auto Repair.

Pros: Competent Service

Cons: None

I had a check engine light on and they said I needed this and that. After, I paid these for those items the check engine light was still on and my car was still running bad. I was upset and left and went somewhere else. Though, there prices were a little cheaper but there work showed it.

Cons: Prices! but there work is awful

Great work. Joe is honest, and extremely reasonable with his pricing. His estimates have always been dead on, and the work completed on or before the time quoted. I would highly recommend letting Joe earn your business before using one of the 'chain' repair shops in the area. I had 2 of the local chains try to rip me off on simple repairs. An example is a simple alternator replacement that would take me an hour to do, a skilled mechanic maybe 20 mins. The part can be had at your local auto part store for $95, but the chain stores wanted 385-435 for the part and 2 hours to install it. My total bill from Joe was $155. I paid a reasonable mark up on the part, and reasonable labor and didn't have to mess with losing time off work to take care of this myself. Take it from someone knowledgible in auto repairs, Joe's is fair, honest, and a good shop to trust your business to.

Pros: Honest, Timely, Efficient, Friendly, what more is there to look for?

Cons: Honenstly, none.

Joe's garage may not look like much, but his service is timely and inexpensive. Joe might be the nicest person I have ever met...extremely willing to go the extra mile. He called 5-6 places to price a part for me to find the best deal. I called 5 auto repair shops to get an estimate for a new water pump - he beat everyone by $50 and finished the work within a few hours. Highly recommended.

We have been going to Joe's for years and the honesty and integrity behind this shop is a constant. When we have been prepared to pay for a new battery, we were told, "no charge, still under warranty"! (I didn't know!) How many other places would be that honest? Not many that I know of! This is one car repair place that does NOT take advantage of their customers and gives consistently great customer service!
