I have had some bad experiences with several Memorial Herman facilities, but one time I became very very ill with HCV and a heart condition. If it were not for my doctor and the cardiologists on staff at Memorial City, I could have died. It took 14 days in the hospital, but they finally figured it out. I am grateful they hung in there and didn't give up on me. I went in a mess and left a much healtheir girl. I read about a review with Methodist and how great they are. I know someone who's life was saved there, but my experience was not so positive. I don't know if any hospital system is perfect all the time and I realize none of us wants the ball to be dropped on us. I do know Memorial Herman Memorial City is improving and I really like their Breast Cancer Center. It is very professional and it is my preferred place to be screened. I do think our emergency rooms have a lot to be desired, but if you go to other countries, you may wait days to see a doctor. God Bless.

WORST PLACE EVER! SHOULD BE NAMED HERMAN MORGUE!

The WORST HOSPITAL IN THE WORLD! We sat there in waiting area for 4 hours with my mother who clearly had a stroke. Despite the fact it was after Hurricane Ike, we waited another 4hrs just so a nurse could tell us they couldn't get a Neuro-specialist. We left and were attended at Methodist Hospital Downtown Houston. They took my mom right away, and treated her seriously as the case was found to be severe. Now i can see why Methodist is always rated the BEST every year! WAY TO GO TO ALL THE NURSES AND DOCTORS AT METHODIST! IF we had waited there another 2 days like Memorial Hermann wanted us to for a specialist, I don't think my mom would have made it. Methodist made all the difference, with enough said i WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HERMANN ON 1-10 TO ANYBODY THEY LOVE!
