If you have never been to Houston, you should see The Orange Show. It's just too funky to miss! Don't forget to check out the Beer can house too. Way cool! Bring a camera.
This citrus-themed museum and art venue is a funky, one-of-a-kind homage to oranges.

In Short
Built by artist Jeff McKissack, the open-air structure holds a stage and multilevel seating with large tractor seats. It was designed to host events, which it does, thanks to the Orange Show Foundation. Call him crazy, but McKissack loved his oranges, and he wanted the world to know about it. It took 25 years, but the postman and former truck driver, who hauled oranges through the South, built an entire folk-art museum honoring the prized fruit.
Delightfully Orange

You can tell a lot about a city by the monuments it preserves. Houstonians have preserved the orange show - one man's monument to the orange.
For those who can take a look at the lighter side of life - the orange show is perfect.
Its also great for kids - the love it.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Great for Kids
