The pizza sauces need to be updated for sure, they taste like they came out of the can to the pizza, they need more flavor, garlic, oregano etc
- Pros: good location
- Cons: pizza sauces
Alright Pizza with BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
by lisainbaytown at Citysearch
Ya know, when I first moved to the Houston area, I heard people raving about this place. So I went to try is out. I am not a complex girl, so ofcource, I ordered a basic pepporoni pizza. Well, the pizza came and it was just "ok". NOTHING TO GO CRAZY OVER. So when I got home, I called the place to just give my input, I asked to speak with the manager, and some waiter with an ego trip was qustioning as to why I needed to speak with the manager. As if a manager of a pizza shop was the president. Finally, this guy was just so rude, I hung up. Well, this just really made me more disappointed, so the next day I was at work with this on my mind, so I called back, this time asking for the owner. Well I guess this place is so "high end" the owner does not feel it is important for him to come to the phone to hear feedback from his customers. So, all in all, over price average pizza with a bad attitude.
- Pros: NONE
- Cons: EVERYTHING
not calling again

I really enjoy the pizza at Romanos and they are located pretty close by but after tonight, I am not placing an order with them again. 20 minutes after placing an order over the phone, I was told at the shop that an order had not been placed. They were not apologetic nor did they concede that they could have done anything wrong. This is after a few other times when the service left much to be desired. I am done with Romanos. I had high hopes but decent pizza is too easy to find to continue to be treated like this.
- Pros: food
- Cons: bad service, bad service
Highly Overrated!!

My wife and I were expecting great things after seeing Romano's ranked as one of the best pizza's in town. We were highly disappointed. We found the service to be rude, the atmosphere/place wasn't nice at all, it was expensive and the pizza was average at best. Stick to Fuzzy's on Kirby if you want a good pizza...(try the Florida it's our favorite.)
