poor customer service, disappointing delivery service

I am a 6-yr customer, and have had problems only in the last 2 months. Specifically, in Sept 08 I placed an order for delivery. I live less than 10 blocks from the restaurant, and historically deliveries came within 30 minutes. After an hour and 20 minutes, we re-placed the order and picked it up ourselves at the restaurant. Ironically the driver did arrive at the house in 1 hour 30 minutes, while we were at the restaurant. Today (Oct 08), to avoid this delivery hassle, I placed our order for "pick up." It was ready when we arrived. When we got home, however, the cashew chicken we ordered had NO cashews! When I phoned the restaurant, they explained that no manager was on duty and they were out of cashews. If only they had mentioned it by calling us or at time of pickup, we could've ordered something else. When I asked if they could deliver another dish, they said their driver was out and it would be at least 30 minutes. There were also no fortune cookies... not a big deal to me, but a big disappointment for my young son. They did offer to credit us the cashew chicken for a future order, but there will be no need, as we have no plans to return.
