Better Salads at McDonald's
by valkyrior_tx at Citysearch
I ordered the taco salad that indicated it came with beans, guacamole and chicken (I chose not to add the cheese and sour cream in the interest of keeping things remotely healthy). What I got was a small pile of iceberg lettuce, a few chunks of boiled, flavorless chicken, two small pieces of avacado and a few tomatoes for the bargin price of almost $10. Quite possibly the worst salad I had ever eaten.
- Pros: Good location
- Cons: Sullen service and overpriced, bad food.

Love the staff !! It almost has the feeling of cheers. They remember you and your family witch makes you feel great ! I brought my teens to watch games and they loved it as well. This places makes everyone feel comfortable. Comfortable environment and lovely staff. I met people from work there, they gave us a semi private area with free hot sauce, chips and Cold buckets of beer. The private area had flat screens as well. Lots of fun and relaxing. The manager took care of us herself. Will return as often as I can.
Best Sports Bar in Town!
by melg3 at Citysearch
I have been visiting Bubba's at Memorial Park for the past year and have always been pleased with the food, service and most of all the fun atmosphere! It's obvious that this place is headed in the right direction. Over the last year they have added new and bigger TVs, have held special events such as live radio broadcasts & charity events, sports team parties plus their holiday parties are the best! The staff and the management have always been pleasant and the food is great. Their location next to Memorial Park is perfect so it's convenient for lunch, after work, any night or weekend - I bet the competition is a little envious of their success! Good job Bubba's.
- Pros: Atmosphere
- Cons: Parking
Absolutely Horrible
by flyinhi8276 at Citysearch
I went to Bubba's the first time and I do believe you get what you pay for. Yes the drinks are cheap and on Sundays they have 1/2 price appetizers but they have horrible customer service. When I was there for a happy hour on a Tuesday, it wasn't busy at all so it was like we shouldn't have ever had an empty glass or plates in front of us. I thought well maybe the waitress was having a bad day. So I gave them a shot again, one of the waitress acted like it was a bother to wait on us. I had one drink because of the poor service. When I got home I had been charged around $68 bucks for my one drink. I called the manager and said that I would have to come in with my receipt to PROVE that I was charged incorrectly. Of course I did. It took over a week to get it credited back. I will never go back and tell everybody what a horrible place this is!
Bubbas Rocks!
by HtownMoma at Citysearch
We're regulars since Bubba's is so close to the office and is nice and big inside with an outdoor patio for smoking. Frankly, the food is awesome, steak nite Wednesdays is the best deal in town. The service is very friendly and prompt. For after-work drinks and American food Bubba's is our meet up spot. It's getting popular so the parking is hard when full. Football season will pack this place!
- Pros: Great Food, Service and Drinks
- Cons: Parking
great food

They changed owners about 7 months ago. Bubba's now has the best Hamburger and Chicken fried steak in Houston . They added all new 15 HD BIG tv 's in the last 3 months there every where. We have noticed the crowds growing so get there early. The food is great and we always have a good time. the crowds are friendly. I think they have live bands on Saturday night.
- Pros: food was great and HUGE HD TV's everywhere
- Cons: parking
Great Hamburgers and Nachos
by johnnyback at Citysearch
Bubba's was a lot of fun. They have one of the best Hamburgers I've ever had. My girlfriend had a order of Beef Nachos that were awesome. There food is not like a sports bar buy like an old fashioned restaurant. The Big plasma Tvs are everywhere. We plan on this being our new hangout.
- Pros: atmosphere, food and tvs
Fans cheer for the excellent food, cheap beer and good times.

The Scene
The gray plank-board exterior and ramshackle appearance of Bubba's is reminiscent of a Louisiana crawfish shack. Inside, the ubiquitous sports paraphernalia, 12 small- and two large-screen TVs make you feel as if you're in a network studio.
The Draw
During the week, business types spend their lunch hour munching on catfish platters and rib eye steaks. In the evening and on the weekends, sports fans lounge around enjoying the limited but inexpensive domestic bottle selection. With three cable boxes and two DirecTVs, you have a good chance of catching a glimpse of your favorite NFL team. If the latest Texans' match-up isn't enough to keep you interested, enter the fun and potentially lucrative $10 "suicide pool."
- Pros: NFL TV packageLive Music
- Cons: Closes at 6pm on Sunday
A True Sports Bar!
by h0ping at Citysearch
I like this sports bar! The food was great. Their menu had a wide variety of burgers and other items to choose from. They even have a decent selection of healthy items, for those of you how have just come from jogging at Memorial Park. The quality of the food and service was very good.
As for this place being good for kids - yes. Don't get me wrong, it's not Chuck 'E' Cheese, but it is completely laid back. I wouldn't recommend sitting with them at the bar, but the dining floor and patio area is very open. You and your group will have more then enough room to eat, move around and enjoy.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Large diverse menu
