I recently purchased a pair of eyeglasses from Spectacles on Montrose. I liked the service and designer frames. Unfortunately they have limited selection of frames in my size (I'm tall), so the glasses I wound up going with don't look very good on me ... they look like safety glasses, and they were quite expensive at $725. Although the frames don't look good, I like the quality of the glasses (very clear, easy to see/read with). It's a great store if you are looking for frames that look very unusual and care about how well your eyeglasses are made. They have very convenient hours (open until 8pm) and are in a very convenient location. I'm going with a below average rating because most of the comments I received about my glasses have been negative in terms of appearance and the glasses cost about twice as much as the last eyeglasses I purchased elsewhere. I do like how the eyeglasses perform in terms of how well I see with them.
Pros: Very convenient hours, location, friendly, professional staff, high quality frames
Cons: Most people have made negative comments about the appearance of my $700 glasses
