Upleasant place to play pool.

The green carpet at this carpet is grungy dirty.

The felt on many of the tables is old and faded.

The plastic pockets on some of the tables are loose.

The music in the evenings is deafening.

After asking the manager to turn the music down it was turned down and then after a few minutes they began to raise the music volume up until it was as loud as before.

It was like trying to play pool in a huge old dirty dumpster with an enormously loud sound system.

Not just a pool hall!

This Montrose area Bar/Pool hall is a great daytime get away. I love the long happy hour from 11-7(pool,food, and drinks). I sometimes play some pool alone or just kozy up to the bar and chat with the always freindly, spunky,(and attractive) bartender. Food is pretty basic but most items are 1/2 price during happy hour. Drinks are always mixed great, pool tables are well cared for and cheap during the day. My new local hangout - see ya tomorrow.

• Pros: great happy hour and really freindly and skilled daytime bartender
• Cons: food kinda basic - need to step it up a bit
