Timberline is absolutely, hands down the best place I have ever worked out at. I had put exercise too far down on my to do list while in college. Once I graduated, I tried to get back into exercising but just couldn't keep it going. I attended one of Jeff's Boot Camps and rediscovered what I loved about working out. I thought that I wouldn't want to work out in a gym but in my Boot Camp group I have fun, laugh, and am motivated by the other cadets (boot campers). I have kept with it for over a year and find myself exercising on my own in addition to attending boot camp twice a week. What I do in Boot Camp; I would never do on my own which is why I know I need it :) An incredibly talented and supportive group of trainers, varieties of exercise, and a great ambiance; no wonder I always look forward to going there. Thank you Timberline and thank you JEFF!!!

Like many others, I had been unable to maintain a workout schedule on my own. Jeff is a great trainer (I never before considered having a personal trainer...) who keeps me motivated, is always curious about any recent activities that affects my workouts, and is very concerned about me achieving the objectives we set out, like strecthing and flexability. My results have been remarkable, and only getting better and better. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, all the trainers know you. In short it is a very condusive atmospher for success!
Pros: location, location, location! Ample parking too!

So, let me tell you about myself...I NEVER was able to stick to a workout no matter what gym I went to. I have been working with a personal trainer at Timberline for more than a year now. Timberline is my extended family and I look forward to seeing everyone there each time I go there! My Timberline family has brought a revolution to the way I look at workout and healthy eating. Everyone knows each other by first name, and we are all laughing and enjoying every minute we are there. I would recommend anyone to come and check out the best excercising atmosphere in Houston!!!

If you're serious about your workout this is the place to go. I joined last November and immediately started working out with one of Timberline's trainer's -- Karen Peden ("KP"). KP is awesome -- every workout is different. She changes it up every time, so you're challenged at every workout. She combines cardio with the weights, so you're really getting your heart rate up. It has really motivated me to work out again. The gym also offers classes (free to members) that are also great workouts. They're all small -- sometimes its just a couple of people -- and you get a great pilates workout. All in all, this is a great place to work out --
Pros: Personal trainers, size of gym, friendly members and staff
Cons: nothing

Easily the single best workout experience in Houston. All of the staff are very friendly and it feels a bit like Cheers, everyone knows your name. The facilities are excellent but the main reason to go is the personal trainers. These people know their stuff. Be forewarned, if Wooch says, "it will change the dynamic a bit" you are about to be in for a serious workout. Definitely 2 thumbs up!
Pros: Trainers know their stuff and push you to do more
Cons: None

Timberline is home to the best trainer in Houston, Wooch!! Wooch is very knowledgeable and innovative in his workouts; you'll never feel more motivated then when you are working out with Wooch. I have worked out at Timberline for over two years and will never go anywhere else. It’s a friendly and relaxed environment to work out in. Everyone should try Timberline, it’s the best!!!!

I can't say enough postive things about Timberline -- the location, the people, the atmosphere, the facility, are ALL top-notch. Best of all, is the feeling you get after working out there. Not only do you get an amazing workout and personal attention, you feel like you are part of a family. You may go there to see one trainer, but they ALL will know your name. After being away for a while, I still miss it and I miss the people and I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend this gym and their trainers for anyone looking for THE best workout ever -- physically and mentally.
Pros: The people and facility
Cons: Not being able to go every day

Small class with the best in personalized coaching -- from the beginner to the advanced athelete. Mima is a gifted teacher and an inspiration. I saw results in two weeks (and I was an overweight couch potato who had not exercised in too many years to count). I could walk and stand in high heels for the first time in over 10 years. I could sit and stand up straight. When I went to mass today, I could kneel with no discomfort. I feel like a new woman. Mima made me feel welcome and capable. And it turns out she was right -- I just moved to Level 2!
