The Patio is better than the food.
by tapilgreen at Citysearch
The patio has awesome atmosphere when the wheather is nice. The chips and salsa were good. The margaritas were ok. The fajitas were ok. The tortillas were good. I enjoyed the seafood enchiladas. I would return.
The Ritas ROCK!!!
by sassandclass at Citysearch
You want some pep in your step have a rita...or two! We sat in the back room and it is so charming and quaint. If you have a large group the patio is perfect and the decor is fabulous. The food is wonderful with a unique flare....don't let the front fool you that the restaurant is small BUT make sure to valet since the lot is SMALL.
- Pros: Patio, margaritas, food
Patio cool, food not so cool....
by arthur5 at Citysearch
If you are going for just drinks and a cool place to hang out then this is a pretty neat spot. The food is not so great not to mention that ours was delivered cold and the service is nothing to brag about either.
Great back Patio!

What a find in Montrose area! The back patio is gorgeous, with palm trees and special booths that make for a relaxing atmosphere! And the live music inside is fun.

The food is great and , if you close your eyes and listen for the surf, you can imagine yourself in Cozumel.
- Pros: excellent value, continues to improve
Great Food - Awful Service
by souzaldine at Citysearch
After excellent food but sub-par service after our first visit, we gave it a second chance. This time, again, great food, but even worse service. After repeatedly asking for silverware we eventually had to eat our fish with spoons! Ordered fajitas and never got tortillas. We won't be going back no matter how good the food is.
Great Food - Need 4 Wheel Drive to Park
by atm2001 at Citysearch
The food, margaritas, tropical salsa all make this restaraunt one of the best in town. Don't let the bumpy tore up parking lot fool you. Once inside you will be whisked away to an awesome Mexican meal. Just bring your 4 wheel drive to make it through the always tore up parking lot.
- Pros: food, service, margaritas
- Cons: bad parking lot
Good Stuff!
by locomesican at Citysearch
As a vegetarian, it's difficult to find a place that has veggie options. Most restaurants put chicken stock in the rice, or pork in the beans. This place has taken their vegetarian customers into consideration, and their food is still awesome to non-veggies! Plus, the margaritas will do you right when you com in on Friday needing that extra "kick" to get your weekend started. ;) And don't even get me started on the delicious pineapple salsa...
- Pros: veggie options, margaritas, atmosphere
Neighborhood Secret
by mjstern101 at Citysearch
Don't drive too fast down Richmond or else you'll miss this fantastic neighboorhood secret. El Pueblito is a great alternative for someone wanting Latin flair but is tired of Tex-Mex.
The Mango Margarita was potent but didn't have the mango flavor I was hoping for. Other notable points: the dining room is cozy yet a bit frantic, the salsa's are delicious, and the Hot & Crazy was wonderful (Shrimp and Scallop dish...yum!)
Overall a must see adventure in Houston's Montrose area.
- Pros: Variety of Menu, Delicious Salsas, Great Value
- Cons: A bit noisy
