I got in a really bad accident (not my fault) this year in my Lexus IS 300. My car had approximately $15,000 worth of damage to it, which frightened me as I would think my insurance company would have totalled it. This body shop was recommended to me by many people, so I gave it a chance and I am so thankful I did. My car now drives better than it did before my wreck and it looks brand new. I have not had any problems with it thus far. Since then, I have referred lots of other people to this place and they have had NOTHING but GOOD things to say about their service. Not to mention, the employees are very reliable and understand that getting cars back in a timely fashion is very important for customer satisfaction! River Oaks Paint & Body does the best work in town, so if you have an accident of any sort, I most highly recommend you get your work done here. Thanks again for taking care of my car and getting it back to me in better shape than it was before.

Pros: Beautiful Shop, Nice employees and great Customer Service

Cons: None.

I don't even know where to begin. We were told our repairs would take 2-3 days and after not hearing anything from them 7 days later we decided to call..they informed us work had not yet begun on our car because they couldn't get info from our insurance. Had they called we could have provided them with the information. We then dealt with the manager who said he would get everything done since we were leaving town for good in 2 days. He said that he set everything up to be repaired then left the country and failed to mention that the work would not be completed before our departure from Houston. We have had to change our flights as well as car shipments because this 2-3 day job has now taken over 10 days!! River Oaks Paint and Body is the worst shop I have ever been to. Their employees are lairs. Only take your car there if you don't need it for a month and enjoy being lied to repeatedly!

Pros: nothing good

Cons: terrible service, dishonest employees

My Acura TL was victim to "hit-and-run" with damage to my rear bumper and driver-side rear quarter panel, which meant several things. First, I'd just had a claim and didn't want to use my insurance, in fear my rates may increase or worse, I'd be dropped all together. Moreover, I had a damaged car, which was frustrating and upsetting. I went by River Oaks Paint and Body after a lucnch in the Rice Village. Omar, the manager, was very accomidating and after 5 minutes of looking over the damage.....he returned with an itemized printed estimate and reviewed it with me. He understood my situation and even drove me to Hertz in the Galleria. I want everyone to know, they deserve to be recognized for their service. The car was ready in 3 days as promised and the cost was the most competitive bid of 3 others I'd taken. Please consider them!! I was impressed and as a salesman in a service industry, that's hard to do....! Thanks guys.

Pros: Fast, Accurate and Straight to Business

Cons: None

I am extremely disappointed with River Oaks. I took my car in on a Monday to repair an uncomplicated little scratch on the passenger door. I was given an estimate of $800 and a predicted Wednesday-afternoon finish time. I discussed with them that this would work because I had to leave town on Thursday and, more importantly, the cost HAD to be under $1000 to prevent my insurance premium from increasing. When I called to check on the car, they told me they increased the estimate to $1020... which infuriated me because an experienced body shop should be able to give an accurate estimate for such a straight-forward door scratch. Especially when that broke down to $100 parts, $920 labor. Dennis was incredibly rude and condecending in response to my plee to keep the estimate under $1000 for insurance purposes. To make matters worse, they said the car wouldn't be ready until Friday, which created a HUGE inconvenience for me. I will NEVER return here and I hope my experience will convince you to choose a different body shop.

Cons: Rude, Unreliable, Unaccommodating
