Excellent fun place to dine with friends

Have been here many times (only a 20 minute walk from home) and never let down. We would highly recommend sharing a mixture of tapas with friends and exploring some of the more obscure dishes not available elsewhere - we've uncovered some gems. The paella is also excellent and we recently had the valencia, which was both fresh and filling.
To top it all off, the waiters are extremely helpful and quick to offer advice.
- Pros: great tapas, excellent service in a buzzy atmosphere

It took 20 min to take order, totally ignored, no bread or service on the table after 30 min

I love the food. That's the only reason to go. The entire staff is rude as hell. But I think the food is tasty,
- Pros: Good food
- Cons: Bad managment
Great for a girls night!

I went here on a Friday night. We heard it was a great fun spot for drinks and food. It was packed!!!! The food was good, the drinks were good. I will admit that the service left something to be desired. But in a place that full, I could also understand why. After drinks and food, we went to the "dance floor" and danced our butts off!!! Great live band, great music, and with not having any idea what I was doing, as with the other 12 ladies in my group, I still made a fool of myself but had an incredible time.
- Pros: Vibe!!!!!!!!
- Cons: Service.

...food is good, and they have tons of different things.. I like the Monk Fish on a peanut sauce tapa. It gets busy and lots of nice people go eat/dinner there. They have life music some days and it gets noisy. Do not think that the food resembles any tapas bar from Spain.. please not even close.. but what they have is very good.
Pros: ambiance, music, people and food
Cons: Sangria, prize and the disappointment that it is not a Spaniard place at all!
POOR POOR SERVICE- FROM THE SERVER TO THE MANAGER
by MerL0703

I first waited 10 mins for a server to come to the table. Once he came to our table we didn't get greeted, but instead got an abrupt "do you know what you want?" Throught out our meal we were NOT checked on nor did he check to refill our drinks. In the end his tip reflected the type of service we had. Then come to find out the server charged my credit card twice AND added himself and extra $5 tip. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?!?!? I call to speak to the manager, Christina, the next day and she too was rude and had horrible customer service as well. I do not ever plan to ever eat there again nor recommend it. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE BUSINESS. you want good tapas try Oporto's!!!
- Pros: NONE
- Cons: STAFF/MANAGER HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE...WORST PLACE EVER!!!
BAD, BAD, BAD.....and NOT bad as in good

Horrible...absolutely horrible. first of all, this place is NOT owned by chef youseff anymore. the food taste like they bought the absolute cheapest ingredient they could find. these are NOT tapas, they're just small portions. if they were tapas, they wouldn't cost that much. drinks are way expensive and the staff has a horrible attitude and if i didn't know any better, i'd say they were RACIST...and i'm hispanic!! i asked for the manager and got someone that didn't speak english! how can you run a restaurant in the rice village and not speak english? all the other bars in the village were jam-packed but mi luna was empty. i should have saw that as a sign. do yourselves a favor...NEVER GO HERE!!!
- Pros: i'm not there anymore
- Cons: i was there once
BRUNCH WAS DISAPOINTING

I used to think this was the best brunch in town....I guess those days are behind us. Not nearly as much food offered on the brunch buffet. There was no champagne in the mimosas. And the waitress rolled her eyes at me, and acted like she couldn't split a check.
the food was ok, but not worth the price. same for the cocktails.
- Pros: PAELLA WAS OK
- Cons: WAITRESS (EDID) WAS A HUGE MONSTER
The worst customer service EVER!-WOODLANDS

The worst customer service EVER! The bar tender left my credit card laying down in a random place in the bar?when I came up to close my tab a bald man with decayed teeth told me ?we don?t take cards, we don?t know what you are talking about? I refused to leave that place until he found it?again laying down near the bar! To top it all out?that bald man with decayed teeth throws it at meeeee? I was disgusted with the service! The place is deserted most of the time?but I used to go because my friends hang out (used to) there! Horrible place! No manners! Our other waiter will leave us unattended to talk to another bartender. Never again will go back! Try Copas Bar Lounge is way better!...at least they keep your cards in a drawer! ;) i am putting a star because it doesnt let me continue with the review...but they dont deserve to even be open!
- Pros: nada
- Cons: they had a channel showing sexually explicit material movies while children watched in the back of the restaurant! WOW!
Check your bill

While the food was pretty good, I will never return there again. Our server, who was only waiting on our table as it was an early business dinner, attempted to overcharge us for extra drinks.
When I brought it to his attention, he offered a weak apology, a comment under his breath that he refused to repeat, and went back to the bar to talk to his friend and coworker. Finally he returned with the correct bill and no explanation.
Watch closely, I'll never return!
- Pros: Pretty good food
- Cons: Thieving waiter
Fun, Different Experience

Went here for dinner and I had a great time! The food was authentic, but what I liked most about Mi Luna was the vibe and people watching. My friend from New York City said it reminded her of home. Great, diverse crowd and good live music. I'd reccomend this place to all my friends who keep it safe by frequenting the same restaurants over and over again.
- Pros: Great ambience, Rice Village location, romantic for two--but still fun with a group
- Cons: Loud--not a very conversational place at night
