Terrible Service

Went to Luby's at 25660 NW Freeway and was served a micro portion of fish, they hurried us out of the store and they had no ice for their tea. What a waste of $20.

The Scene
For families, Luby's offers thoughtful touches, including specially priced kids' plates. And small ones seem to love to ride in the rolling high chairs along the cafeteria line, taking in all the action. There are oversize bibs, and the nice ladies are quick to refill your drinks and provide Styrofoam containers to take leftovers home.

The Food
Catering to an older clientele that has become more health-conscious, Luby's serves fresh fruit and salads, sugar-free Jell-O and puddings, broiled fish, roasted meats, some steamed vegetables and smaller food portions on the bargain-priced Luann platter. (They'll give you the calorie breakdown upon request.)

Comfort Food on a Dime

This is an old standby, since my "salad days" until today, I've enjoyed the quick service, the tasty food, and the wonderful variety of foods, cooked from scratch. My favorites are liver and onions, fried fish and broiled trout. Yummy and cheap.

Wnderful Food (and memories)

I Raised my Son, Jason (now 22) on Luby's food. I was a single Dad with limited cooking skills, so we went to Luby's on Buffalo Speedway every night (almost) from the time Jason was 4 or 5 until he graduated HS and College. This IS A GREAT RESTAURANT! Great, Wholesome Food, Excellent Prices, Super Friendly People and Wonderful Service! Keep Up the GREAT Work Luby's! Thanks for the Wonderful Memories and a Happy, Healthy, Well Fed Son!
