Come rain, cold or searing sun, the Tunnel Walks' seven miles of air-conditioned sky walks and subterranean passages accommodate thousands of Houstonians daily. Those who venture beneath the city will find restaurants and snack bars, dry cleaners, post offices, clothing boutiques, doctors, flower shops and more. Major buildings that are connected by the tunnel system include One Allen Center, Shell Plaza, Alley Theatre and Wortham Center.
