A Real Value for High Quality Clothing!!

I was amazed....

Chloe, St. John, Gucci, Escada, Dolce & Gabbana, Donna Karan... You name it and it's all there - but for AFFORDABLE PRICES!!

If you're a woman on a budget who still appreciates fine, high quality clothes then this place is for you. It's funny, even the bad reviews say that this place has great prices for awesome clothes. I found Couture Blowout by mistake, and I'm glad I did. I bought a cute BCBG Runway dress there, then went down the street to their sister store "Remix" and bought a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes! I'm definitely going back -- soon!

You mean "Blowup?"

My first visit was a delight, apart from the annoying racks of cloned pants and skirts. The owner graciously welcomed me in, but went back to her shrill client: " I only wear black !" The usual names such as Chanel, YSL, a few LaCroix. A small selection of real vintage caught my eye with its Mugler, YSL, and Gianni Versace. Best of the newer were the few Galianos'. A rareity was the Chanel peach, see through silk top. If only my br......

Then, I saw them. The Chanel, YSL, and Dior jewelry. A few new, but it was the classics. I wanted them all.

Several months later, I returned. No screamers for just " black." Shoes galore, but mostly a bore. The jewelry. It was gone. Purchased no doubt by a smart Houston buyer. Still too many pants.

Large bags (Everything is big in Texas). A questionable Chloe, or was that a Mark whats his name is everyehere, Jacobs ? Maybe a Dior. Who knows. It was shiny, like plastic.

Same song, same blowout.. Had a plane to catch lto Atlanta.

Best couture consignment shop in Houston

What a great find on Westheimer near Montrose! I was looking for a fall/winter jacket and went into Couture Blowout and found exactly what I was looking for - a stylish Armani from last season, probably worn once or twice. Some of the pieces still have tags on them. Fatou, the owner, was helpful with fit and different ways to wear the jacket. She definitely knows her fashion. I love the boutique feel that the shop has; its light and bright and well-arranged. I have my eye on a Bottega Veneta handbag and an Hermes H belt so I will definitely be returning.
