What users are saying:
Great Community & Business Oriented Space!
by gracerodriguez
I drop by Caroline Collective often to:
1. Work among other creative, tech-savvy, & friendly people - you can share ideas, meet potential vendors/collaborators, get help, network...or not
2. Take advantage of their free wi-fi, power outlets, nomad desk space (considering renting out an office when one opens up!)
3. Enjoy the many arts-related and social events (see carolinecollective dot cc for the calendar)
4. Support the cause by donating food, coffee, books, magazines, hard drives
5. Relish a break from work on the Red Swing out back! (redswingproject dot org)
Caroline is constantly evolving, and is open to community input in that process, which makes it even more helpful to those who use it. Really, I love this place - and the co-working concept it embraces - enough to recommend it to every single person I talk to. I hope you'll check it out, too!

This unique 6000-square-foot facility in the Museum District provides a cafe-like workspace for developers, writers and others looking for a space to conduct their business but aren't served by a trad

In Short
Co-founders of Caroline Collective, Rice University graduate students Ned Dodington and Matthew Wettergreen conceived the co-working space in Houston after experiencing co-working environments in San Francisco and Philadelphia. The facility offers tenants private and shared workspaces, a conference facility and free wireless Internet access. The space's south building is occupied by Artstorm Houston, an organization that works to fill the need in Houston for an accessible, approachable and affordable gallery space for emerging and unrepresented artists.
