Won't accept out of state I.D.

A friend from California was in town visiting so we thought we'd stop by to have a few drinks and catch up. When my friend pulled out her -valid- California drivers license, the girl behind the bar didn't even look at it and said "No, we don't take out of state i.d.". My friend is clearly in her mid 20s to boot.

Now I don't know if this is really the bar's policy, she was just being lazy or didn't know how to check and out of state i.d., but I won't be back. If it is their policy, it should be clearly posted on the door so people waste their time. If she doesn't know how to check and out of state i.d., then she needs more training because I am TABC certified and I know how to check out of state i.d.s. If she was just being lazy, then that's all the more incentive for me to never go back.

No matter what state you're from, don't waste your time. The music is also both incredibly bad and loud.

NIce place

I've been to Vintage a few times and have never been disappointed. The music is good...as well as the crowd.

It gets a bit snug inside but you can always move to the front or back area.

I do have to say, for an establishment to take time and respond back to negative reviews shows great customer service and just for that alone, I'd continue to go despite anything else.

More places should do the same.

Horrible Night

It was a Friday night, around midnight. They had a garage band playing with the neighborhood parents there to watch. The notes were off and the place was dead. They had one bartender and I guess a manager that was sitting at the bar talking to his girlfriend. Took forever to get drinks because the bartender kept going to the back. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

There is no class to this place.

My new fav. Venue!

I finally went here for the first time and totally loved it. It is a little hard to find, but I consider it my diamond in the rough. I thought the barstaff was very friendly. Great music, fun environment, nice bathrooms! It is the old Forgetta bout it (which is probably what scared me away for so long), but it is completely remodeled and is a totally different place. Love it!

snotty staff

yes the staff was hot if you like fourteen year old girls! They were the snottiest bar staff I have ever met. Or not met for that matter, I was there three different times for at least two hours each tima and not one of the "girls" told me their name, hello, boo, f u or anything the like. It was " what are you drinking?" Not even eye contact. As far as this place is concerned I consider it a club than a bar. It was smoky, crowded (sausage fest) and too freaking loud. Crappy cover band too.I'll be going back to Rogue's thank you very much for making me appreciate my home bar.

• Pros: Clean. Nice restrooms. open. cool decorations.
• Cons: Expensive. Paking , staff rude. No women.

Great NW Houston Bar

This is one of the best bars in the NW Houston area. They have great bands that play on the weekends - especially The Spiffingtons - and the staff is very friendly. I have had 2 parties there and the bar staff always send over a bottle of champagne for us. The staff makes us feel very welcome and the crowd is a good mixture of young and older. Check this place out.

• Cons: Parking lot is full

hott!! staff

my only complaint was to many guys at the bar, but it makes sence becuz the staff is smokin hott. i love the place it is the only bar of its kind on the north side of houston. the only thing is before it was vintage pub it was a grungy hole in the wall called forget about it or something like that. once u go there you will see why it is so cool

great place

My boyfriend & I went to this place this past tuesday the 27th. We had a great time. The drinks were good and they were giving with the alcohol. The atmosphere was nice also. This is a great spot to hang out if you live in the cypress area. We will be back.

Cool place, great live bands

i am actually writing a review bc i am impressed with the place. i have been a couple times when they opened and it was hectic and took a long time to get drinks but I was just there this weekend for my girlfriends birthday party and it was a huge improvement. this is a really cool place and i love the lounge area.

Terrible service! Bartenders were extremely rude and unprofessional. It took forever to get served drinks. The bartenders just stayed in one spot serving drinks to whoever walks up to them. On our 3rd round of buying drinks, we waited for at least 15 mins for them to glance our way (we were seated at the bar) to order drinks but it never happened, we finally just decided to leave (3-strikes -you're out)! Staff needs some serious customer service lessons!
