No fuss, no fancy, no frills

For a quick & small lunch group (there are no large table seatings), it's fine. Good, basic rib-sticking food. Don't come if you're on a diet. Lots of fried foods. It's low-key, quick moving great for a non-intimate lunch.

Cleanliness an issue

Dropped by for some burgers with friends. Two people fell ill the next day. Tables are pretty greasy, condiment bottles are greasy too. They need to learn basic hygiene. The burgers are pretty good, but I could do without being sick.

Overall, this place was good, EXCEPT management should really control how many people they allow to be packed in there at one time. Isnt there a fire code to enforce this? With that said, I will be back, but I'll be sure to get the hell out before the place turns into a cattle drive.

What a burger!

Arguably the best burger in town. Eat here often! Make shure to go the Midtown location. The cashier at the Washington location will yell at you .

Great Area, Corner (FYI). Nice looking bar, very clean. Get there early if not it will be a long line, don't be alarmed because the burger looks very small. The patty is very thick, juicy, nice flavor, buns toasted and warm. The fries were ok, good but nothing to talk about. The Onion rings were crispy and good. I would definitely go back especially during happy hour. Blue Moon and a great Burger is always good!

Loud and Smokey?????

I didn't know you could smoke in bars in Houston?? I guess you can at Christian's Tailgate... Last night a group of us were there to watch a game and eat dinner (the food was not terrible, but not really good either) when a large group of people walked in smoking. The people sitting around us was clearly disturbed - several coughing loudly and one group of ladies shouting in their direction, but no employee said anything - the one waitress working the entire room and the bar-tender both served them and the cigarettes continued. We gave up and left - there are just too many better choices in this town...
- Pros: lots of TVs, good location
- Cons: not enough staff, average food, people allowed to smoke

Best Burgers!

hands down best burgers anywhere haven't really tried any other meal there because I am just addicted to there burgers! If you like a good home cooked meal with lots of love its the place to go! Great place to take the friends and watch a game!

all-around great place

I have been to this place a few times now, mostly on weekends, but I have to say last monday was the best experience I have had there. When we got there the place was pretty empty but it got better as the night went along. the drink specials were awesome. and where else can you go that you are able to have a good conversation with the owner. and by the way the place going in next door sounds awesome.

Fun for karaoke nights

We enjoy visiting Christian's on the weekend to sing karaoke and have some cold beer. It's usually packed so finding a seat is difficult. Standing outside to smoke is slightly more hazardous because of the strong wind that whips around the corner. The bartenders are AWESOME!
- Pros: Robin the bartender, fun atmostphere
- Cons: parking is horrible, smokers beware
