SILLY little PLACE

There are some VERY UNATTRACTIVE AND OBESE LADIES in Houston and it seems like they only go to SCENE( don't believe me? see the photos of past parties on their website), silly club all around the only thing keeping this WACK place alive is the DJ....OH but the best thing about this place has to be parking that's about it.

• Pros: DJ and parking
• Cons: there is not enough room, for all the cons

great music wednesdaysss!

ok.. so the first time i went there was lamee.. like no joke! but then i went again, and it was funn! Cute guys, im NOT gonna lie. its for 18 and up wednesdays. [cus its college night, with college ID you get reduced cover] the lights are really cool. and the parking is everywhere, so i dont think you would have a problem findin any. the only thing is that its small. is not like it gets really crowded, but sometimes you got nowhere to sit. [unless your VIP] the bottle prices are really good! Check it out! WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS ARE THE PLACE TO BE IN!

Trendy

Parking is easy, its all around. The ambiance is real good in here. The reason i put average is because of the service and the size, although it is never really too packed in there but seems a bit small. Also, the club lights will beam right in to your face if your not on the dance floor which can kind of be annoying. The bar tenders can take a very long time to servce, it has a patio if you want a smoke and theirs really no place for my lady friends to sit in there unless you have a VIP service. Overall I have had a decent time going there, and I have been there a few times. Im saying if you want to try a new place out, give this a try.

Seen it, done it, eh.

Me and my best friend gave this place a try a few weekends ago, it was hard to find but it was nice at first and the crowd was pretty good. There was a cute bartender breathing fire, it made me jump like 10 feet the first time I saw it! We talked to him throughout the night and took pictures, he was really cool and we had a great time. He kept breathing fire just for us to make sure we got a good picture. (we were pretty drunk) Anyway we went back this weekend hoping to hang with him some more, we forgot his name but some very rude girl said he's gone and she charged us $6 for a beer I payed $4 two weeks ago. Not much reason to stay at that point. I hope that guy didn't burn himself!

• Pros: Cute fire breathing bartender (not there now), nice atmosphere, actual dance floor
• Cons: Getting cheated on drink prices, very rude bartender, retarded men in crowd

SLEEEEEEEZY!!!!

Friday after hours was decent.... DJ was amazing, but thats ALL that saved the night; which is sad considering that virtually every other after hours spot is closed down. How hard is it to be successful when you're the only option for the time being.

Before After hours began, it was dismal. The bartenders are unimpressive, at best. Slow service and mediocre drinks sum up the whole night.

The crowd were psuedo-aggressive jerks, who were clearly trying to convey an image that was just not real. Everyone posing, and pretending to be important; while looking like cheap mobsters and leaving $1 tips. For those of you who remember when downtown was the place to be.... Stay away! It is EVERYTHING that is wrong with downtown these days.... I mean EVERYTHING!

• Pros: DJ Josh DuPont after hours
• Cons: EVERYTHING but the DJ

Dead Night

My friend had her b-day party there on Saturday night (12-22-07). We were in the VIP. Our waitress was great. We had great service from her. The only thing negative about this place is that it was dead. the music was great and we did enjoy ourselves. I just expected there to be a better crowd since Scene supposedbly being the #1 club in Houston.

• Pros: Clean restrooms, great friendly service
• Cons: Dead crowd on Saturday night

If You Want To Club Without Being Clubbed

This club is on a very human scale, not to big and not to small

Easy access to any part of the Dance Space

The outside Terrace is nice and breezy

Service is good

And the GoGo Dances are Exciting

Worst Place to go

The other day i went to Scene it was so wack that was the first and last time i would go there.. when you order a drink you expect to get a little tipsy after a few but guess what i was looking at the amount of alcohol they put in there and it was nothing they probably put half a shot and the prices are jacked up as well.... i dont recommend this place to anyone and to top it off there were like 20 people in there GO to midtown area instead

• Cons: eVERYTHING IS BAD ESPECIALLY THE SERVICE

Great Service and Atmosphere

I worked with Michael and Sarah in coordinating a networking special event for our group at Scene and it was fabulous! The service was great and they were very accommodating. The club itself is gorgeous - very simple and clean decor and the perfect size - not too big and not too small. I heard from Michael himself that they are thinking about having a "Ladies 80's" night which I really hope happens - it would be a great way to get a late-30's to early 40's crowd to a downtown bar for a girls' night and couples' night out! Sarah and Michael are awesome people and I feel lucky to know them! This place is going to just keep getting more and more popular, so check it out NOW!
