Perfect Glow!

I love the girls and the tan at Throwing Copper! In the past I had done several airbrush tans and not a one of them came out as long lasting and beautiful as the one they did for me! I had lots of compliments from people asking if I had just returned from a vacation which is a great compliment since it looked so natural! Definitely a place I refer to all of my friends and clients!

The tan is incredible - it looks so natural. No only that, but the service is great and the hours of operation are great for people who work late. I am a customer for life.

Natural Glow!

This place is wonderful! A few months ago I was new to the area and was trying to find an alternative way to stay tan besides tanning beds. The reviews on Citysearch helped me make my decision to choose Throwing Copper. My experience was perfect. Both ladies are very professional and really care about how satisfied their customers are with their spray tan. I highly recommend Throwing Copper to anyone that wants a healthy glow versus baking your skin in a tanning bed!

Best sunless tanning in town!

The whole experience is great and my spray tan came out so well! I would recommend this to everyone instead of sitting in a nasty tanning bed!

The Best Place for a Sunless Tan

I had a wonderful experience at Throwing Copper! I was in a wedding and the bride actually referred them to me. I was a little uneasy prior to my appointment but once I got there Samantha made me feel super comfortable and the tan turned out TONS better than any previous spray tans I had done. I definitely recommend them and will be going back again in the future!

Professional Airbrush Tanning!

It's a boutique establishment so I felt like I was given special attention...She instructed me the whole session and gave me directions for afterwards unlike other tanning salons. Great customer service...

Throwing Copper is all about YOU--the owners only allow one client per booking, so, no queues or running into people pre- or post-tan. This is no cattle-drive-saloon-salon.

Located just off of Montrose, behind Chelsea Market, this girl can pop in, and about ten minutes later, walk out with a golden, non-manufactured-looking glow.

Samantha or Stephani (owners) greet the client--you--with their superChill Zen personalities, putting all at ease, and quickly assess the best hue for you, with your input.

J'adore the chic shade selections:

Honey--a super-natural look for the fairest of them all,

Copper--for a nice medium dark base,

Chestnut--so you can be supertan-woman-or-man, and so on. . .

Once you hone-in on your hue, POOF, minutes later, you are in the totally private tanning area while Throwing Copper sprays your self-tanner fears away.

There's no time to get self-conscious, as before you know it, you don a grand glow, say, "Thank you," and glide out the door...on to your event, party, or tall cool one, looking and feeling honey-pot-hot.

Healthy approach to sun

The whole process was fast and painless....just follow her directions on the website and all will be perfect. I really enjoyed mine, don't try to go too dark the first time. It doesn't have the synthetic smells of most spray tans, I only have good things to say about it. I just looked really nice and bronzed for about a week! go for it!

Throwing Copper

Throwing Copper is the best airbrushing experience I have ever had. It is organic and green based so you dont have to worry about an orange looking tan. The girls are so great and flexible with booking appointments. The process is very fast, usually done within 15 minutes and before you know it you have an amazing tan! I have had several airbrush tans here and have been completely satisfied with all of them.
