I LOVE this club!!!!

I have been to several clubs in Houston and I have been to several of the "better" clubs in Houston where Ive gotten to know the managers or the staff and i wouldnt recommend those places to one person. But of all the clubs I like Status the most! Ive never had a problem getting in, I have probably had to wait in line a couple times but I dont care, that happens, once i got to the front it was "thank you ma'am and have a fun night"...first off, Im 21 but thanks for the respect by calling me ma'am! I have never had a problem getting drinks even if the bar has been packed, and every time I have gone, I have had a freakin BLAST! Status is a real club, they are the place to go to if you want to dance you butt off and not have to worry about being bored or the drinks being weak... they have talented hot staff, a great dancefloor, they always play good music, serve great drinks and everything is just great! Of all the clubs that I have been to I love going back to Status and i never think twice about it. I noticed some people mentioned cover charge...i dont know anybody that works here but I dont ever remember paying a cover charge but ya know, thats life.

Really Nice Place

The DJ rocks the house! The dance floor lights up, along with the bar. Everyone there is really nice, they make you feel welcomed. Try it out it's nice..

• Cons: Sometimes parking

Status has the nicest and prettiest staff in midtown. They also have a brand new patio that over looks the skyline downtown that you have to check out!

I HAD A PARTY A WHILE BACK AND MY FRIENDS COULDNT GET IN =( I EVEN BOUGHT THEIR EXPENSIVE BOTTLES AND THEY DIDNT LET THEM COME IN=(

Different...

I have gone to Status a few times, and so far so good... I like the Miami feel....

I specially love the outside patio, pretty kool. Staff is great, always taking care of business.

I did notice that the last time i went was kinda empty due to the dj playing not that good music, everyone was chilling outside.. But, other than that, i love the place :)

STATUS ROCKS!

i have never been to STATUS before and i might say i had the best time ever.i went on friday n it was so crowded.the bartenders were awesome and fast.i waited for maybe about a minute to get my drinks.they were quick n friendly.the size of the club is great,not too big and not too small.the patio is nice too.it was soooo much fun i had to go the next day n sat night was awesome too.a big diverse crowd.i highly recommend that STATUS is the place to be.Oh n also we got bottle service,and the prices are wonderful.u just have to check out the club.

• Pros: GREAT SERVICE FROM WAITRESS N BARTENDERS
• Cons: WISHES IT OPEN LATER THAN 2

Biased Cover charge - doesnt matter who you are with or what you are wearing or what time you show up

My friends and I always dress for a night on the town, so dress code was not an issue. Actually, I think the guys with us were a bit over dressed compared to the rest of the crowd...anyways

Here is what happened:

- 10:30 - 9 people show up - 4 girls 5 guys - no cover

- 10:45 - 4 people show up - 3 girls 1 guy - charged $10/person, when we didnt have cash we had to go to the atm inside to get cash out. All while leaving a license with the girl at the door.

- 11:15 - 5 girls - 1 guy show up; they say the only have 25 bucks between them and they ALL get in

Only thing I could say is WTF?????? It was a friday night for crying out loud and who pays to get in before 11pm ??? ! I thought this was actually a place that prided itself on its customer service but when I told the bartender, he told me to go find a guy wearing a suit. Gee thanks, can you point him out to me at least?

If you plan to go beware, or just say you only have 5 dollars cash, maybe you'll get lucky...but I know I won't be going back anytime soon!

Good Experience

Me and my friends decided to check this place out for the first time. We got there around 11 50 and walked right in since there was no line. Once inside we started our repeated trips to the bar and each time we received the same courteous service. I thought the music was ok except they could have played a little more hispanic music since they were the majority. I highly recommend this place.

Good Times - Great Memories. Thank you to the staff who was friendly and although extremely busy always smiled. It's a club so you have to expect that maybe you'll stand in a line a bit while the bouncers check IDs and the "list" or whatever, plus since we're not regulars, we can't just walk up and wink or greet the guys at the door to skip the line, and yes there may be a crowd at the bar & at the end of the nite, the valet maybe bogged down and a bit slow, but this is standard at any club in the country. I've heard a lot about "Jason" and hope to meet him next time I go, but overall I had an amazing time. To me it's what you make of it based on the circumstance. Fortunately, I have fantastic friends who are always positive and we can have fun anywhere!

• Pros: Friendly Staff
• Cons: Long wait at the bar - maybe add a couple more bartenders or barbacks

great atmosphere

I had a party at this place on the 19th of july and it was of the chain! on top of the fact that the employees were really nice and made really strong drinks the bottle service was superb! although i dont remember much about the night (lol) i do remember the service that i received! The dj was exceptionally motivated.... me and my party danced all nite long! The giant mountain bouncer that met me at the door was all smiles and greeted my entire party with lots of energy! that guy was big!!!!!!!!! my waitress took very good care of me and i left her a large tip for her service! the manager was a lil latin dude that could have walked under the door without even bending over! He was the best! I would love to have another party at that venue and i recommend it to everybody to explore this classy joint!
