Just Wax It

I never had a brazilian wax until I went to Just Wax It about 8 months ago. I would never go anywhere else. I have always been able to get an appointment on the date and time I asked for, and the wax is over before you know it! I have been very impressed and highly recommend this shop!

Pros: Professional, good parking, great staff

Cons: Nothing

Everyone was very friendly and approachable! I just moved to the area and found Just Wax it on city search and decided to give it a try. It was the most painless waxing experience I've ever had! Sometimes it's hard to find a new place after you are used to someone else for so long, but Just Wax It did such a great job. I strongly recommend for everyone, guys and girls, to try this place out! The type of wax they use is great for people who have sensitive skin or who have never been waxed before!

Pros: great services, friendly atmosphere and staff.

Cons: somewhat expensive.

...JUST WAX IT!!!!Mendy Is Awsome!My appointment was a tad bit behind schedule but it was well worth the wait. Mendy was soooo understanding (being that I was a "first-timer" in all). This will definitely be on my "favorite things list" years to come! : )

Pros: Ambience,Location,Skill,Value

Cons: Lack of Comunication(prior appt was late so I had to wait until they were serviced, however ,I wasn't informed of this until after I brought it to the receptionist's attention)

I came here to get a Brazilian wax (this was my first time). It was a little difficult to find but I called the store and they were very helpful in giving directions. Lisa was the person that helped me and I have to say - SHE IS THE BEST!!!! She's super nice and tries really hard to make you feel comfortable. Since this was my first time getting a Brazilian wax, I came in really nervous but she was so helpful and talked me through the entire thing. Not once did I ever feel uncomfortable with her. She also took her time so needless to say, I was very happy with the ending result. As far as the pain factor goes, I'm not gonna lie and say it didn't hurt - it obviously did but by the next day, the pain was gone. I was really happy with my entire experience with this place. I am definately gonna be back!!!!!

Andrea is AWESOME! I was a first- timer, and she totally put me at ease. It actually hurt worse to have my eyebrows waxed in a nail salon than for Andrea to do a brazilian- there was really only a little discomfort. If you've been thinking about doing this, CALL TODAY!

Pros: Great experience- professional staff, little discomfort, great results

This review is long overdue. I stopped by on a Wednesday last month (they have wax off Wednesday specials) and was greeted by Mendy @ the front desk. She was very hospitable and friendly. Shortly after, Andrea led me to a very clean room and we gain my Brazillian. I have never tried the hardwax before and sure enough it makes a WORLD of difference. In addition to the topnotch experience and service, everything was extremely hygenic and clean. They never double dip the spatula. The local is also super close to where I live with ample parking. I have already recommended this place to all my friends (especially the brazillian virgins) and would recommend it to anyone.

Pros: In depth depilatory experience, great service, extremely hygenic, lots of parking

Even though Just Wax It (in Houston, Texas) has only been around since February, 2008, this waxing spa has already earned five stars on City Search. It is constantly busy and clients are left satisfied, so Mendy, the owner, and her staff must be doing something right. Waxing can make even the bravest person break down in tears, but Just Wax It uses Brazilian Blue Wax so it is never painful - even in the delicate areas. After not being able to make an appointment at Wild On Wax, I decided to go elsewhere. Wild On Wax has been around longer, but ironically, Just Wax It already has a higher ranking on City Search. Just Wax It is located in Montrose's Chelsea Market on the ground floor, and although others have stated they thought it was difficult to find, I thought it was simple - and I'm not even familiar with the Montrose area. The prices at Just Wax It are reasonable as well, especially compared to other waxing spas. My modified Brazilian cost $60 as opposed to the $75 that Wild On Wax charged. My esthetician, Andrea, was great. She was friendly, outgoing, talkative, and informative; and of course, she did an excellent job at waxing my bikini area.

Just Wax It was great! I've tried a lot of waxing places in a lot of different cities and this was one of the best. The atmosphere is great and the staff makes you feel at ease. They are knowledgeable, very skilled and friendly. The prices were very reasonable as well. If you're even thinking about a Brazilian wax, you should definitely try one here.

Me and my boyfriend decided to go here not too long ago. I just needed my eyebrows and lip waxed and he needed his eyebrows done. His eyebrows were out of control and they grow at an odd angle. When nothing is done they are two different shapes. We had Carolina work on us and she did SO good. And the type of wax they use doesn't hurt nearly as bad as when you go to a nail salon. She took time to shape his eyebrows perfectly. When she was done they looked great! They were so neatly groomed, but still looked masculine. The people here are great at what they do!

Pros: Wax doesn't hurt that bad, very skilled staff, private rooms, great atmosphere

Cons: Somewhat pricey

Most women are used to being undressed from the waist down at the gynecologist's office, but doing it in front of a complete stranger is a whole different story. Andrea has seen it all - men and women - and does not make anyone feel uncomfortable regardless of which area is being waxed. She, herself, has been a waxing guinea pig during class, so she knows how painful it can be. From that agonizing experience, she learned what not to do. The Brazilian Blue Wax really is painless so I recommend it to everyone; there's just no reason to go to a salon that uses the hot honey wax. Just Wax It has a small waiting area near the reception desk, and unlike others, Just Wax It can accommodate more than one customer at a time. The salon is fresh, neat, and has a very clean bathroom in the back. Just Wax It also sells Whish Body products, as well as cute pantys, tank tops and T-shirts.

Pros: Easy appointments, Price, Knowledge & Skill, Great wax, Customer Friendly, Great Location
