i had one "laser" hair treatment last year at another spa, machine there was an IPL (intense pulse light) and was burned pretty bad. my mom brought me along to her botox and juvederm free consultation appointment with dr. vu 3 months ago. before we got to meet dr. vu for the free consultation, we were slightly disappointed by the knowledge of the new receptionist, though she was friendly! once we met dr. vu, saw all his training certificates displayed including silver status with the botox doctor network/association(the guy had injected thousands of units of botox--easily mistaken by his asian young face and age), and were reassured by each of his answer to our questions, my mom had both botox treatment for her forehead wrinkles and juvederm filler for her upper lip done. the session was explained to us step by step in term that we could understand. he used some numbing cream for my mom lip before carefully injected the gel into her lip. mom said she didn't feel a thing. immediate results were seen. her upper lip half of the lower lip before and about 80 percent after. as explained, he didnot inject inthe middle of the upper lip which artfully created a heart-shape lip that she didnot have before. mom had 6 little bumps on the forehead after the botox treatment. 10 days later, mom's forehead wrinkles were barely visible...no frozen face. saw his fancy laser machine while i was there-the Apogee Elite from a company called Cynosure-did research on it and found lots of good reviews. i since had 2 laser hair treatments for my underarm, had not shaved for 6 weeks as instructed, can only see about 15 hair on each underarm now..........getting late....i talked too much huh?
