It may not look like a big fancy place.... but the service and the food are outstanding. yes they are busy sometimes and you have a little longer wait on your food but it's worth the wait. Always friendly and quick to tell you when there is a problem. They make up for any issues with free items and great service... This COON Behind eats there usually 1 a week to ensure that I get my filling of FRESH CRAWFISH....

Awesome Crawfish

Didn't know what to expect. Looks like a big shack on the outside and interior decor is simple, but I was there for crawfish and they delivered. I ordered 3 lbs. of the spicy boiled and each one was as succulent as the next. These were also the biggest crawfish I've had since moving to Texas in December 2008. I couldn't finish the full 3 lbs I ordered, but since I live in Pearland and the distance was a little out of ways to get here, I ordered 3 lbs. to take home along with the portion I could not finish. I'll be back though.

I have not been there mainly because as you drive by you see trash everywhere. Their garbage containers are ALWAYS overfilled. Debris from probably many hurricanes ago have formed life in the back. You have people smoking in front of the building which overlooks the main street. Dirty outside, who knows what might live inside...

BEST CAJUN AROUND!

I LOVE their shrimp and crawfish! I dont normally eat crawfish but if someone peels them for me I will and Guidry's has the best! I call in my to-go order all the time for the boiled shrimp. I tried the spicy one time and I swear my nose started running and my ears felt like there was fire coming outta them, but thats how I like it. I recommend this place for catering and just a good dinner or lunch meal!

• Cons: food takes awhile but they boil it fresh

Visited 10/15/08 for lunch. Got lunch special - chicken fried steak - meat tough. Got Fried Shrimp - tasteless. Way over priced. Cocktail sauce a joke. Go somewhere else.

Guidry's Cruisin' Cajun Crawfish

My hubby took me here for the first time last night. He said he'd eaten take-out B4, and was good. We got there and had quite a long wait, and the mgr finally came and told us our order had been moved (how does that happen?). We arrived at 7:05 pm, we waited until 7:50 for our food. Nevertheless, it was good. We had boudainballs, which needed a little more salt, but were flavorful and good, not too hot like some I've had. We also had fried shrimp platters and the batter was flaky and fresh, and shrimp was fresh, cooked tender - the best I've had in Deer Park/Pasadena. French fries were great too. They gave us an extra water, and made us two "complimentary" pistolettes (for the mix-up), they were delicious. They also discounted our ticket, since we waited so long. Service was friendly, just food was slow, and people who had come in for take-out were in-and-out before we ever saw our food. I'd try again, but only when I had time to wait. We'll see what they do in their new location. Chef is good, just needs to speed it up a bit.
