What's all the rave about?
by kellianne101
I ate here last night and feel that it is nothing to write home about. The food was so-so. The seafood bisque was not a bisque at all. It was lumps of crawfish (only) swimming in a bowl of butter. The rice was bland and everything was just average. The tuna tar-tar for an appetizer was great, which is the only reason I think this restaurant is even average. The only thing what was absolutley above and beyond was the waitstaff. They catered to everything and were really wonderful. However, I must also say that my group were the only ones in the restaurant. I will not be going back.
- Pros: Ambience, Complimentary Valet
- Cons: Food
South American has made a comeback, come visit the one that tops Andes

We tried this place out on saturday and I could have sworn that the over the top kindness, attention to detail, and by far the best South American food i've had in years was run by an ex churrascos manager. I was shocked to find that 2 young (and i mean young) well for lack of words kids, had taken the responsibility of an old dance club and turned it into a jewel that lets you leave feeling fulfilled. So you go out, have an appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 desserts and a decent bottle of wine, a visit from the owner and the general manager, a night of dancing with a live salsa band, costing a smidge over $100. You really cannot beat it. We had a great time, and loved every bit. Food however, was unbelievable, i had the red snapper, my wife had the filet. Little light on the sides but who really needs them when you have 3 other courses to fill in the gaps. Luigi Bosca Gala 1 for 60 bucks is a steal at any restaurant. The mixed Tres Leches and Flan were to die for. The band played till a little after one oclock in the morning and we went home happy. I mention that owners were young, 23 to be exact, (i asked), it's nice to have them treat you with respect and kindness. we were impressed.
- Pros: one hell of a good value, great service and amazing food
- Cons: hard to find with temporary sign

In Short
Despite the soaring ceilings and rich, earth-toned decor, this glass walled South American restaurant lets loose on the weekends with salsa dancing and live music. Expect a flavorful menu featuring favorites like empanadas, pastas, seafood, strip steak with chimichurri and the Aromas filet. Live music is played at the restaurant every Thursday and Friday evening and tables give way for dance space on Saturdays for in-house salsa band Grupo Cafe. Lunch features sandwiches and tropical smoothies.
